girlfriend does, but she's in crewe at the moment :slap: . Have found that other post, and it looks like(if thats what ive done), a flush is required. I'm assuming that and local garage should be able to do that..?

It's probably too far for them to come(about 50mls). Although when it's running again, thats no problem :)

Hmm. I thought about that, and checked the garage where I bought it from. I remember the price I paid for optimax(94.9p), and it seemed to be right. Shell don't sell optimax diesel do they? Is there any way of checking(smell or whatever). It's possible that I ddi, cos it was very early this am.. :eek:

Didn't think it would be the mix, but seemed a bit strange.. :rolleyes: With regards to the fuel lines and pump, is there an easy way of "checking" them? There was a large smell of petrol after it died the first time, so thought I might have flooded it. but left it to test for 5 mins, tried again(and again) and no good..

Hi, I finally picked up a z after 3 years or so of thinking about it. drove it down to surrey from Edinburgh yesterday. 450miles no probs(pretty good fuel consumption too!). went for a drive today. Had half a tank of BP ultimate in it, and filled it up with optimax. about 15 miles later lost power for a second or so, then it conked out competeley about a mile or so later. Now when I try to strat it, almost catches, rumbles a bit then dies. No idiot lights or anything. Any ideas? things to check? have looked at connections etc under the bonnet, but all looks ok. Any advice would be much appreciated, because it's parked in a local car park at the moment! BTW, when it was working, what a car! so much fun :dance:

AAAARRRGHH. Don't do it! That's like taking your Z to Halfords( and on a saturday afternoon, at that!). You're better off asking the small piece of belly buttun fluff that you've been collecting:D

A possible answer to this is to use the "right-click" menu. i.e. click with the right mouse button on the picture, a menu will pop up, you will have the option to "print" or "save as", as well as some other junk. You could try saving the picture to your local(c:\) drive, or printing from that menu.... HTH Tony TT

The basic response to anything like this is.... IGNORE IT. 99% of these "warnings" are, in fact, just nonsense. If you are still concerned, go to http://www.mcaffee.com, and look it up in their virus database. But, as I said... Mostly B**%%ks.

Don't know about the FAST CD, but some software has a .ini file included, which will point to the working directory.. i.e on a cd, it will be(probably) d:\XXXXXXX. Try changing that to c:\Nissan. If not, try creating a shortcut to the .exe file, and changing the working directory in the properties of the shortcut... HTH:)

Mark, Believe it or not, I've been with BTOpenworld(Gasp!) for over a year and a half now, and I've had about 1-1 1/2 hours of downtime. Not only that, but when they dropped their new subscription monthly charge by a tenner, they automatically dropped my charge!!:eek: They also don't set a limit on updloads or downloads. Ft, If you right click on the picture, and click on "save as", you should be able to save it into a folder. If not, what emailer you using?
