Has anybody had any luck with this? I'm having the same problem :( . I actually read what was on here before i tried anything, so i let windows find the drivers off the web(which it did), then plugged it in, started the Z, and it won't connect. The cable looks installed properly on the laptop, the port settings are right. Don't know what to try. is it something like the parity or the stop bit on the port? Any help appreciated..

'cos it was a nice day, i decided to take it off, and have a poke round godalming.. Saw a red Z 2+2 reg including OIL, and a grey import with aftermarket spoiler. Lived here for twenty years and never seen one!!! shame I was in the vectra not the zed, we could have had a rally! :bow:

Nice one :hyper: Had similar in the Z today but was up against a TVR Chimaera.. Kinda surprised that he was obviously giving it everything and could only just keep up, from 30-120(ish). Had to turn off then, otherwise might have got interesting... :mac1:

Dunno if this is gonna help, but had EXACTLY the same problem with mine. The problem was the alarm had been wired in such a way that the fuel pump cut-out was underneath the passenger footwell, so when the passenger shoved his size 12s in there, pulled it loose and voila! cost me £200 and a red face to fix at my local garage :slap:

Yep. one of my mates customers is on site there and he occasionally can get onto the track and go for a burn(in his T6 volvo c80 hehe.)

Heh. Is part of a "sticker" pack which "converts" the rear lights to a skylines :rofl: Was on the Z when I bought it. Some of the guys on here may know where to get them.. Smithy etc..
