no it went into a garage to have an oil leak done ..rocker gaskets leaking but they had to remove the plenum and thats what the gaskets cost

hi i just had ny manifolds done at a garage also i had the rocker cover gaskets done at the same time and the gaskets were £120 per side rom nissan.

hi there cant help you with your problem , but ive just fitted my BOVs .i removed the recircs and fitted them in there plce but i dont get the hiss when changing . just wondering where you fited yours and do yours hisss on gearchanges thanks

what if i sealed up the recirc pipes now there off and move the dumps closer to the throttle body would that help ... always wanted a turbo car hat hissed ...got the car no hisssss

it is a bit of a crowd pleaser realy. i guess ill strip it all down and put the recircs back on... for sale .....dump valves ..one owner low milage...

just adjusted the pressure. took the vacuum pipe of on tick over and its sucking. if i put my finger inside the valve and ry to lift the piston it mes easy but switch it off and i cant move it i reall thought that having dump valves it would hiss everyime i accelerate but its not now im pi44ed off.... if i put more pressure to the valve spring will that work aaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggg doin mi edin

i have just put on my new dump valves , had a job removing the recirc valves but got them off. just give it a run seems ok .. but....... i was under the impression that every time i took my foot off the throttle even under normal driving it should hissss. i have to cane it to get them to hisssss. i think i may have to adjust them to hold the boost longer or have i done all that work for nothing apparently they have trumpets on the dump valves so there noisy ...but not yet any advice on how mush i need to adjust them thanks

i got a set of dump valves ready to fit to my zed . i was going to fit them this week while the weather is good .. after reading these threads shall i fit them or shall i just leave it as it is ... was looking forward to the hissssss when i changed gear ...

by the way , just what was it the cops pulled you for at the cruise you never said

i just bought the same one from ebay . got it home fitted it . works ok easy to wire up if you set it to auto it will take 5 mins to cool sometimes so i set mine to 30 secs and also take it easy near the end of my journey..but yes there good. plus its a gadget and its fun when you walk away from it and its ticking over ..and people who have drooled over your car say hey mate your cars running and if you time it right you just say ;; ENGINE OFF and it stops ...amazing .. good fun lmao

first time last night i took my zed out in the dark.. turned on the headlamps to see where i was going ....... may just have used candles.. is this just another 300zx glitch along with the rest of the problems... :headvswal

just took the zed for a bit of a thrashing came to brake at the roundabout and it didnt wanna stop. luckily the traffic had started to set off , so i took it slow and they seem ok but when i push her hard she dosnt want to pull up is this a problem with the zeds , pads and discs look ok. any ideas need to get it sorted as my confidence in the car is growing and i push it more and more.. :mac1:

love my zed no matter where i go it always turns heads.... and with the tops off you always get people says '' nice care mate'' nice feeling
