  2. if its a cold start problem then it will be your air regulator or a.a.c valve if its when its hot then its prob your injectors need a clean as well as there electrical conections
  3. well i wonder if you got a sep oil cooler then no reason why not off course you will have to make the mounts but should work in theory but there would be no point

  6. but the T/t rad has a bigger cappacity so better cooling i have found a handy pic from an american site basically you weld in 2 washers and drill out the centre and cut off the old mounting points, looking at getting a ash spec rad once he has mad them so doing the work now can save me alot off hassle i just need to get the top rad mounts, will be having a go this weekend

  8. well i have spent the afternoon cleaning my electrical contacts and my plenium also added a tin off ijector cleaner to the tank, took the beast out for a spin and what an improvement she is right on the edge again and my gosh she is quick now, just got to sort out my servicing and away we go matt :tease:
  9. yeh ill be at the pub after, a good place to meet would be the moto services between junction 12 and 11 on the m4, so a quick wizz back up the motorway for the show say meet in moto carpark between 18:00 - 18:30, the moto is on the west bound carriage way towards london
  10. no screws left over, i cheated with that hidden screw in the end i found that if you are gentle you can bend the pipes out of the way and remove the old core, then with a bit of a riggle you can get the new one in with out any probs then its just a case off gentle bending the pipes back, a quick bit of liquid gasket on the pipes and screw them back in and hay presto no leaks. going to be fitting a paddle clutch in a few weeks so when i have the engine out im going to replace the pipes and ditch that bloody screw
  11. will be there too. lets all try and meet and drive in as a parade

  20. hi mate well can't say for sure but my tires have been squeeling today my prob is hot rubber and cheap tyres, if there wearing fast is it just on the outside edges, or inside edges or just the inside or the out side edge
  21. WHAT EVER YOU DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT LEAVE THE ENGINE RUNNING YOU HAVE A BIG CHANCE OF CRACKING THE HEAD OR BLOCK, my advice would be to leave the engine over night to go cold, get out with cling film cover cover all your electrics like fuse boxes, alarm, ptu even try and cover up the coil pack's to stop water getting to them, get some degreaser and spray it liberally over the engine use a brush to clean the parts and use a low pressure hose or watering can to rinse of the degresser and keep doing this until clean, then dress up the plastics using a silicon restorer leave it for a good hour with the bonnet up and then start her up and away you go
  22. well i will be trying them out for that price can't really go wrong (can you?)
