And to add, if someone stole it why would they give it away for free? Sell it yes, but giveaway?! I dont keep them kinds of friends.

I know these unit are stolen easily. But I got mine from a friend who has always had audi's and gave me it as a gift. To be honest I was overwhelmed receiving the head unit I didn't even think what others would think. Anyways, I wasn't happy to wake up to 2 email asking if it was stolen!

Over recent months I find myself looking on ebay, gumtree and autotraders for zeds. I am afraid one day I might just end up spur of the moment buying another!

unlock codes are on ebay for less than £15. I wasnt even asking for a code. anyways.... nevermind. Im gona sell the audi and get a ZX lol

Hi All, Even though I sold my zed I still read and come here because I like the members and zed's. Even when I sold my car, others on the forum have still helped me with various things (JaiKai etc). I own an Audi at the moment and I am over on one of the Audi forums too... So I made a thread to be basically shot down asking repeatedly if it is stolen! That has never happened on this forum and I actually feel really offended! The reason I posted the thread was to 1, show my gratitude and 2, to point out it was the wrong model but nevertheless it was a great gesture! Sorry, bit of a rant over here rather than there. I feel like kicking someone! Lol

u shuda kept the car. paid the excess. reported it missing and sold it for parts.

there are a load of folk on the audi-sport forum that have vagcom/vcds who probably will do it for beer tokens lol, I only say this cos I now have an audi a3 and I am always reading various posts. nothing wrong with asking lol

Hi All, I have a non Z related query - maybe this should be in the off topic forum? Mods please move if this is the case. To cut a long story short - I purchased a computer from gumtree some time back. I have been using it no problems for a month or 2. Anyways it popped up - updates are due, so, I updated. Since then I get a message every single day the version of Windows in not genuine. I do want to get this resolved asap. My question is what are my options? The cost of buying Windows seems rather expensive in comparison to what I paid for the tower? To be honest I didn't know it had a counterfeit version of windows installed.

tbh i have been looking recently. But I am in 2 minds after the last time! I still love the cars and read on this forum regularly lol
