  1. it has a very distinct GTR look about it
  2. the uk clocks remove the restricted jap limit of 112mph and set it to the restricted UK limit of 155MPH However if you chip your ecu it will remove all limits reguardless of which clocks you have
  3. ohhhh, it was gumball 3000 not gibster, nevermind getting confused, am i right in thinking you had a sig pic of a red zed at night with a green badge emblem? Sorry for the hijack, and yeah by the way you will get problems getting traction both off the line and through gear changes, similar to the problems little 200sx get. But... launch control will help hugely
  4. hold on, hold on... I thought you sold your zed?
  5. no you cant remap the standard ECU im afraid, but a jwt chip can be socketed onto your ecu which is basically a remap within a chip. You can also get them from a few people on this site, also you will need these if one if you want to feel any benefit from your upgrades
  6. 3 can be fitted there, i think only the bezal catches but most gauges come with bezal built permanantly attached
  7. depends on the gauge in question, with a mechanical gauge you normally have hoses threading through your dashboard, electrical however are normally just wires. Personally i prefer the mechanical gauges because i get the feel they're more accurate because they're not just getting a funky signal from a foreign wire
  8. i love defi gauges, but they're very expensive
  9. air/fuel gauge and boost pressure gauge are a must if your planning on engine upgrades
  10. my xbox uses a hdmi cable and if the difference between HD gaming is anything like HD tv then there will be a huge difference
  11. you hook it up to your pc and can watch movies/pictures/soundtracks and stuff saved on your pc via windows media centre. I use a USB pen in my car stereo with about 250 tracks on and you can plug it into your xbox and do the same there.
  12. i only got a black one, did on my last z too. :(
  13. Mine is an import I bought it on 55k with a uk speedo in, checked through a load of old paperwork with mileage's written / printed on and it was all in kilometers, got on my trusty phone converter and all pretty much worked out correct, give or take a few miles. :)
  14. Im planning on doing the panals in black acoustic carpet, they were the same in a vectra i had and made the car really warm. and its cheap as chips, probably not everyones cuppa but everyones different eh? And it'd give me a base to have any colour seats i want because black goes with everything :) Ps FunkySi... your not allowed to reply to this thread :)
  15. is there a guide to doing the panals anywhere?
  16. again, who won?
  17. but ive got a 2+2 and use the back seats so i need reclining really
  18. got bored watching it, who won?
  19. Anybody want to upload some pics of their seats if they've changed / retrimmed them? Im looking at getting some new ones and want some inspiration
