  3. boost jets are small metal restrictors which go inside the small pips to the actuator, they're a caveman method of raising the boost. I use them :) the pipe is located underneath the large inlet pipes to the throttle bodies (the middle two big pipes) Have a look in the light and see if they are connected, when people install them they tend to have problems squeezing them into the pipes and just connect them back up by a cm, rather than an inch.
  4. and on the vin plate it will say it was manufactured in japan, surely
  5. boost leak could be the cause of your stalling problem, are you running boost jets? If so.. the pipe they are in may have come of which stops the actuator to one of the turbos opening at the right time. it will also cause black smoke and a farting noise when you change gear on boost. a boost leak is more likely to be around your dump valves, probably the original ones are still there or a blanking plug has popped out Hope this helps
  6. i dont know about the buzzing but yes it can be the cause of the rough idle, i replaced mine a few months back after i was having all sorts of trouble and it cleared up my wobbly idle, and fixed my intermitant central locking

Im well annoyed My girlfriend had baught tickets to see Lee Evans at the manchester MEN tonight at 8'oclock for my birthday... ~We get in the car to go there (little over an hours drive) and discover the whole of macclesfield is gridlock, took us 45mins to go around the block. Only to discover that some ****ing twat had decided it would be funny to do a bomb scare at the local mcdonalds, smack bang in the middle of the bypass/main road in and out of macc. ARGH! what a waste and shit night!
