  1. Mina plays a tune! (you can turn it off thank fook)
  2. LMFAO! That was funnier than the joke.
  3. Oh no, def tailgate skin. Just don't want it to look too long at the back. Thanks everyone. A decision has been made. ;)
  4. I like the "oh bugger fund" - but hope you never need it. I was just going to say about the faults you found and the promise of them being fixed.......Actually ask what the faults were and what they did to rectify them. Other than that get the cam belt done for piece of mind and good luck. (oil change would be good too) :D Now we just need some pics!
  5. Yeah, Jaffa's has the spoiler removed but not the skin I am after pics of. Thanks though mate. I've got a day or two to decide whether I want to strip mine! I mean I'd be gutted if my oem spoiler (which I like) starts to bubble or crack after I've had the bodywork done. And I do like the look of no spoiler - so maybe just get it off to be sure. Decisions, decisions..........
  6. I would proceed with caution. But don;t give any personal details and as you said, no money ACTUALLY in your account, then no car. Does sound iffy though, so watch out.
  7. Have you bought it? Don't panic - nothing bad, just wondered.
  8. .......please! Anyone? Any help mucho appreciated. :D Thanks. **Can a mod add "wanted" to the end of the subject line?**
  9. That Fuji that we spoke about before, and I have, will do you a treat to start off with Pete. Depends on your budget I guess.
  10. I am up for this but not bothered about the RR. If I was booked onto a RR I would want some actual work done!
  11. FFS! What a fkin sh1t. Sorry to hear this Danny. As to whether to claim or not, I guess first thing is to get a quote to repair the damage and go from there. I know AndyZ was selling targa's for something like £30, so that might be worth thinking about? Hope you get it sorted as quickly and painlessly as poss bud. Fookin little ****s.
  12. Just got to get those speedo rings now! I like those.
  13. Yeah, chuck me a pic. I'm guessing you mean its hitting the dustgaurd to the disc. There is a cut out in this at the bottom iirc. Or you may have to bend it a bit.
  14. It IS spooky........its normally on empty!
  15. Nice one bud! Sounds like you're hooked. Mine has turned into more than just owning a car - it is more like a hobby. Good luck. Enjoy :D
  16. They will come out, I have changed all of them. You have dropped the caliper out of the way? They won't come out with that in place. There is enough space for them to come out of the back towards the bottom of the hub iirc. The dustgaurd thing got in the way a bit - but they DEFINATELY come out! I am sure I have done a mini write up somewhere. I'll look for it. (edit) I can't find it - but trust me, they do come out.
  17. I got a mk2 8v Golf GTI, does me a treat. Insurance on that was only £250 tpft, so still saved almost £300 overall insuring BOTH cars!
  18. Yeah 2nd car. But I was paying nearly £800 for my Z last year - my saving went halfway to buying a little runaround.
  19. http://www.norton-ib.co.uk/frame_classiccar.htm
  20. I'm with Norton and have an import.......£270. (31 years old, full ncb)
  21. You mean longer wheels studs? I have put longer Nismo studs in and didn't take the hub off. If you drop the caliper out of the way you can get the old bolts in and out through the back. Or should I say out and in.
  22. Sounds like there is no going back. Don't settle for 2nd best.
  23. In the bodyshop........see below...........:D
