Cheers, no, there's no way they replaced the pipes that far up. It was just suggested they might be faulty as my MPG is terrible, £20 the other day only got me 50 miles! I'll try the self diagnostic test on the ecu. Thanx again. Take it easy.

Have de-catted the Z with a full stainless system, have the o2 sensors gone with the old exhaust or are they tucked up further towards the turbo's? Thanx for any help.

Cap'n, I have standard calipers re-mounted at the larger radius for the larger disc with that bracket thingy! Budget doesn't stretch to calipers just yet! Got the number for 3G Brakes? but don't want std size discs as they will look pony with the 18" Khans. I know the guy I bought the discs from always went to SE so maybe they're their discs, I'll find out. Cheers.

Ok, have I made myself look stupid? The ROTOR is that the bell or the disc? duh.

The one's I have at the mo do have a bell on them but don't know if its worth the bother of finding out what they are etc (from the tosser that sold them to me!) so I can get just new rotor's. Prob just go for new one's. Just wanted a rough idea of price really, unless width and thickness of my one's would be enough to get new rotors from Smithy?

Got some 18's on the Z and want larger discs on the front, did actually buy some 2nd hand but they're warped (like the people on this furum!) where shall I get them from and how much you reckon? cheers. :D

Will a faulty oxygen sensor show up on the diagnostic test thing? -and where is the oxygen sensor? I think I'm thinking of the air-flow meter, its not the same thing is it? and thanx 4 your help!

oh yeah....... and a new fuel regulator. On another subject, bought some 2nd hand bigger discs off of a guy who was breaking his Z, (HKS I think?) turns out they're warped as f*ck, can I get new rotors? and keep the bell etc?

Put £20 of fuel in yesterday and re-set the trip meter..... now empty again and............50 miles showing! ok, it was Optimax but sh*t, its like getting a cab everywhere. Since bought have boost upgrade, de-catted and induction kit and not had it "set up" is this why such poor mpg?????

Stick with it man, you know you want to. We all think about getting rid of our Z's when they go wrong-and I've had ALOT of things go wrong on mine, (had it 2 years) after 3 months engine blew to bits (£2500 to SE) heater matrix packed up, starter motor, ptu, throttle pos sensor, radiator, battery, prop shaft bearing, main fan AND electric fan, erm, thats about it I think. Hmmm, bloody thing, its keeping me skint. Car's and chic's man, nothing but TROUBLE.

Welcome to the world! I would def try Jeff before SE. I think SE have got too big for their boots and do not deliver the goods. Having dealt with both I have been left with a nasty taste in my mouth from SE. But speak to PETE there and see what you think for yourself, he'll give it alot of BS but look through that and go with what you feel. There is no doubt SE have produced some rapid 300's. As for this place, it is an absolute MUST for ANYONE with a 300. So much info available, I owe the people on here alot already and haven't been on here long.
