  1. On may home from Bristol sunday I needed to put some fuel in but no Shell around. Stopped at a BP at services on M4 and Ultimate was £1.05.9 !!! fkin hell.
  2. Ah cool. Were you on the bike? Another Z rarely escapes my attention! BlackMagic - you are too kind dude!! But thank you very muchos.
  3. Cheers dude - I really appreciate that. There is one last thing nagging me though - I want the 99 front bumper swage filled. It was on the list for the bodyshop to do but they said it was too much of a lip. I know Leigh has done it so would like to see his in the flesh. With flexible filler I'm thinking it shouldn't be too much of a problem if front grounds out aswell. And gota lose the front plate, esp after having the mount shaved, filled and smoothed. Check out the rough PSP...........
  4. When you think there was a set going free here the other day too! Nismo, what a c0ck.
  5. I had a 'Striker'. That was like a mini Grifter too. Picked up an old Chopper a few years ago but its at the bottom of my garden, outside, getting more and more rusty. Had a Shwinn BMX not that long ago! I'm just a big kid really. Still got a skateboad.
  6. Link doesn't seem to work for me? Is it my pc or is it ok for others? Mickey - yep, thats the model.
  7. Sounds good - I have a wedding (not mine) 2nd w/e of Sept and if there is surf I'll also be away bank holiday weekend............so I guess that makes it a bit tricky for me! :slap: But I will be there if not away!
  8. I have one but no instruction manual. I've searched and searched but cannot find anywhere to buy one from. Anyone got one I can borrow, photocopy and return? BTW, its an awesome little camera!
  9. Hi mate - just seen this. Don't get on that often these days. No internet access at work anymore and that was most of my time spent on here. Ok, louvres, had mine done at http://www.coollouvres.com/ ask for Brendan. Well, its a one man band so I'm sure he will answer the phone. Top bloke and superb quality of work. You've seen the finish on mine so you know that already. Sizes, quantity and positions are all down to you. Let me know how you get on dude.
  10. Leigh, just seen this and very sorry to hear about it mate. We are all touched with your openess to us about it, but you know - thats what friends are for. And you certainly have a few on here and I like to think of myself as one. Keep your spirits up dude. The mind can achieve miracles with a positive attitude. If you feel down then just get your skinny butt on here - we'll soon cheer you up.
  11. It won't damage it but will highlight any faults and/or probs with it. I wouldn't fit it to nothing else than a 100% healthy auto.
  12. Just fitted mine last night. Had it a while but only just got around to it. I wasn't sure what to expect but got to say, very impressed. A very worthwhile little mod and easy to fit.
  13. Really appreciate all your kind comments. Sorry I didn't stick around longer at JAE but had to dash off. I will def make the effort to attend all my local meets now though! Another Boxhill to brighton would be good............... Steve!!!!???? (popped home for lunch - no internet at work anymore  )
  14. Cheers fella's. Your comments make it all worth while. The pics I have so far aren't all that good so you'll have to suffer more probably when I get my new camera up and running and car is properly finished!
  15. (Just got to upload a couple more pics here to add in to the first post)
  16. Just for my own amusement - seeing how the "vision" lol, compares to the real thing! ...........not too bad!
  17. Well, it all started when I saw this pic of the Abby Z. I think its a CGI but I instantly liked the 2 tone split. My idea was to keep the same split but top half dark grey-anthracite and bottom half silver. This is a psp of what I hoped my Z might look like with that colour scheme. I was lucky to pick up these 19" Racing Hart CX's and had them sprayed the same colour as I proposed to paint the top half of my car. I also bought Stillen skirts and a WingsWest rear. It was then decision time as I was still debating to kit it up or just de-swage all round. I offered up the skirts to see what they would look like but it was hard to tell. Standard spoiler was coming off either way so I got that off. It had to be the kit and 2 tone so it went off to Z Tech's bodyshop. Some early pics looked promising.... the rear arches have been rolled and flared a little as the new wheels were poking out a bit on the rear and just didn't look right. Then it was all done! Looking good and just ready in time for JAE. Ran out of time to fit new trim around windscreen, targa's etc and to paint wipers which was a shame but never mind. I can do it at my leisure now. So for anyone wondering what's what, its WingsWest rear, 99 front, Stillen skirts, Veilside wing mirrors and tailgate skin. Rear wiper was removed a while ago, along with h/l panel smoothed. Aerial removed and smoothed aswell as rear reflectors in bumper. Front number plate mount removed and smoothed. Last but not least is a BIG thanks to Luke @ Z Centre, Mac, John-Boy, Leigh (friday) and Ryan who all helped to make it happen. Hope you like it, just the interior re-trim to finish off and a little install to erm, install and I will consider it "complete".........then I expect she will be for sale!
  18. Its true :( bit depressed tbh, lol. Back at home now but work is actually going to mean work now.......fook it.
  19. That was nice, most girls wouldn't know where to start to take a front wing off......... I say fair play to her! Although she should use a spanner or socket next time, be alot easier. Did it need replacing or summink?
  20. Glad you got it ok mate and thanks to the guys for looking after it for me when I had to go. And hang on to that Mrs of yours - she's a good 'un !!
  21. No worries - you are all very welcome. I hope you all use them as your regular holder. I sorted the holders but Andrew G printed and cut out all the JAE inserts. Paul, another cup of tea......... in bed I hope, what a girl!! You must chuck up a pic when its fitted. Blackmagic, were you there sat? I meant to say hello.
  22. Clarkey - whats happened to the pics? 2 tone was mine, only picked it up late friday. I will post up some proper pics later. Good to meet a few more people, shame I had to dash off sat eve, sounds like it was a good one!!! The BBQ was just firing up as I left.
