front centre console
Yep, its a Navan shifter. I was lucky enough to get it from someone on here a while ago. They are silly money new! As for the center, yes, rubbed down, primed, painted and lacquered. Take your time and you'll be fine.

Rubbed mine down a bit and sprayed silver. Greddy boost controller in place of clock. Job done.

I am addicted to spending on the Z
I will keep it for as long as poss but the money is going to be needed pretty soon. Until I do sell, the quest is still on to get it looking exactly as I want. I'd only regret not finishing it. Just have to see how things go..........

I am addicted to spending on the Z
Can someone help me? My car WILL be for sale soon... but even though I know that, I am still spending. The thing is, I want it complete, to be EXACTLY how I want it. Only then will I be happy. Its in at the moment for KYB's fitted, switchable ECU, lightweight pulley, Greddy boost controller fitted, my 3 A-pillar gauges fitted, Porterfield pads........see? I can't help myself. When it gets back from there, I will get seats re-trimmed. Dear oh dear - cars and women just keep you skint. Anyway, the car being for sale at some point is a definate, so I guess this is a post to refer back to, to prevent anyone thinking I am selling it cos there is something wrong with it............ anyone heard from Warren these days?

Thurrock meet today
Steve, would you believe it mate? The x-ray department had a power cut (or so they say!) and all appointments were cancelled. Still didn't have my car though but would've probably come along in the Golf anyway! ..............waiting for wrist jokes now - I've had one from my own mother! - w@nkers doom she calls it. Pretty sure I've broken a small bone though in it. Fooking thing is I've torn a ligament on the same arm too, from forearm to the elbow so not good. Mrs Palm and her 5 daughters are well out of the frame!

Why a 300zx?
Because nothing else looks as good or goes as well for the money. Simple. Be nice to see the back of the dogs though and push up the price of decent examples.

Snap off steering
I have fitted a snap-off kit and I wasn't very impressed about how it brings the wheel so much closer. It does feel kinda odd and as you say a long way to the indicator stalk. You will get used to it though. I don't know of a shorter boss but if you do come across one then let me know!

American Chopper...Brighton
I went to this but was no way going to queue up for hours and hours to get into the OCC section. Went up onto the grassy bit (where we had Brighton meet not so long ago) and saw their bikes, albeit from a way away, but good enough. The series is excellent, been watching it for a while now. Paul Jnr and Snr crack me up with their rows.

Hks Alc
No. If your RED light doesn't show on WOT gear change then I would check your wiring. Make sure the nut that clamps 2 connector blocks isn't overtightened (or loose!). And also, actually push in all the wires into the block, making sure they haven't been kinda pushed out - if that makes sense.
