Good stuff, came back on the Liverpool ferry when i bought my zed in England, truckers boat really but nice cabins and food, slept the whole journey home :) No shortage of Hotels in Dublin city and suburbs some reasonably priced ones, let us know where your thinking of staying

holyhead boat journey is much quicker than the liverpool one, guess it depends which is closer to you?

Hey, lets see, road tax at the moment is €1231 being left hand drive I'm not sure how easy it'll be to get insurance, will prob be a case of needing to ring around, try QuinnDirect, Hibernian..... do a google search for irish car insurance, as it's your own car i don't think you'll need to pay any registration tax, so thats a good thing (currently 36% of market value) any other qs ask away
