  2. well for the second day in a row my gf conveniently missed her bus to work just happens im done for xmas so was able to take her, since the z has no wipers im driving the van got into the town she works in and the police zapped me doing 38 in a 30, then i never noticed the officer trying to tell me to pull in drove right past him waving his hands at me lol saw in my mirror pulled over, realized i wasnt wearing my seat belt lol quickly put it on. gf rolled down the window he told me what speed i was going ect then asked why i didnt stop. said i was listening to something on the radio he just looked at me and told me to drive slower and off i go. couldn't believe it they arent all bad after all. would probably have been given a ticket if it was the z not the van mind you

  6. took the top off the housing for the motor and the large plastic cog was in four pieces and jammed in the other cogs thus stopping them moving am i able to get another cog or just replace the whole motor
  7. checked the wipers today and the linkages are all ok so im guessing it must be the motor that is away cant here it going when they are turned on. how do i romove this?
  8. iv only been pulled over a few times in the 3 years iv owned it i found for the first while of owning it the police followed me for a bit when they saw it just cause it was a new car around here, ok now though
  9. as some of you know i got my finger out and finished my ipod holder, as it sits the now you push one end in so you can get it out from the other but what im thinking is getting on old electric wing mirror and a set of the switchs for it, strip the old mirror down and remove the motor from it that makes it fold in and use this to move a plate under the ipod so that it pushes it up for me, to control it id take the switch out of the controls that would normally fold the mirrors in fit it into the spare space on my existing controls like in the pic below thus being able to press it to lift it up ect. what do you think worth it? will it work? or just leave it lol

  17. can look into knocking up a few more after xmas if people are interested now that i know what im doing with it it shouldnt take long, the unseen bits are not that neat but if you dont mind that then its fine. all you need to do to get it fit is romove the ashtray and cut away its holder but leave the screw that holds the trim down i could make a tutorial if people wanted
