I am just about to finish fitting my heater matrix. I was just wandering if there is anything that I need to do to bleed the coolant through or do just keep toppoing it up as and when

Cheers all, much appreciated. Chris just a quick question when you say swap the pipes over, do you know how are they fixed?? Are they just bolted in place or is it a fairly big job to swap them over??

James thanks for that. I heard it was a nightmare to leave the dash in, especially for the manual. Not gonna be an easy job either way tho I don't think. Have you got a new matrix for yours now?? If so did you get a good price and where from?? Best I can find is £175 at the moment :eek: Cheers

Tasted like sh*t so I'm pretty sure it's coolant. :( Hasn't rained round us for the last week either so I don't think it will be from the targas, unfortunately!!

Unfortunately I discovered the floor was looking a bit wet the other day. I have just checked the coolant and that has gone down too!! :( I just wanted to make sure there was nothing else it could be other than the matrix before I started ripping out the dash. And mines a manual so I take it removing the dash is the best way to go??? Cheers all

I have a mate who did a course with ridedrive.co.uk and he was well impressed with them. Only thing was that the training was on public roads. They reckoned that was the best place to learn the new skills because thats where you would be using them. I have a problem with the stereo and DVD screen in my dash.... They are Jap items and therefore the facias don't come off, great!! This isn't a prob while it's at my place but if I take the car anywhere else then the units are on full diplay to everyone. :mac1: Does anyone know if you can get a cover that would go over the top of both the unit's to keep them hidden. I notice there is a recess there so I thought you might be able to get like a face place or something. Cheers Chris

Hi all, thought I would introduce my self here seeing as the thread about the car has already started!! Around £4 - 5k and its the Twin turbo I'm after. Most of the cars I have seen up well up north and at least £6k for a decent one.

Apologies if this is the wrong spot but help and advice sounded about right. I am looking to buy a Zed but at the moment can't find a decent manual in my price range. I have therefore been looking at importing and came across MRDS who will do the whole thing for you for £500. I can't find any info on there service though so I was just wondering if anyone had heard of them? Any info would be appreciated. Cheers
