Thats the whole point in using the empty bog roll lol it goes inside the airflow meter and allows you to spray through it and into the engine without it touching the air sensor :tongue: !!!

Just remove your air filter at the front and put a finished bog roll, you know the cardboard bit you are left with when everyones used the toilet roll into the air flow meter then squirt through that into a running engine, works a treat !!!

They are delivering me a comparable hire car tomorrow and claiming the costs back from her insurance ! Anyone else had a hire car supposed to be comparable to the 300zx ? I'll post a picture of the car they give me and well see if its comparable :D

Well it turns out they will recover the costs from the lady whose car it was as a theft and damage claim. They are giving me a hire car until they get the funds back (free of charge for upto 49 weeks), 350z would do nicely but he said probably a peugeot 607 or something with a 3 litre engine ! I hope they charge the driver with everything she has got coming !

Well it turns out that this woman had got drunk and stolen the car of one of her friends and smashed it into the side of my car. Her friend who she stole the car from has actually been round to my house to find out what she had done ! Yes I do have the legal cover !!!

She tried to bugger off but only had three wheels as the impact had torn 1 wheel off hence she hit 6 other cars down the road trying to get away. I wasn't at home but my sister was and she chased her and called the police, she has been arrested !

My car is stored at my parents house. Some drunk lady has smashed into the side of it whilst it was parked up :cry: . She has hit the rear passenger wheel and snapped the alloy in half (must of been really going for it !), and just to the left of it she has done the pillar and it is a definate write off ! I am only third party fire and theft so hoping she has insurance, although first assumptions are she doesn't ! Completely pi&&ed off now and I hope she gets a prison term !

Yes 1080p support is the one to get, the higher the contrast ratio the better the picture, most support 720i and 1080i which is sufficient but if you want the full High Def then you want one that supports 1080p and is a little more pricey but knowhere near £2,000 !!! Have a look here

Tesco do a 40" Hd ready lcd with freeview built in for £499, and most 37" tvs can be had for anything starting from £399. If you really havent the money then its maybe worth a go but otherwise there are plenty around that would suffice.

hmmm, most likely as the other side had been snapped off where the nut goes. Can get a nut on that side but the side with the bolt is just missing, any ideas on the size, and length, thread of the bolt I would need please ? Did you need to remove the gearbox to do it ? Olly.

235 x 40 x 18 fronts on an 8 or 9" wheel (preferably Falken's imho), I'd go for the 8" personally for better turn in. 285 x 30 x 18 rears on a 10-12" wheel.

Really peed off this morning, went out to start the car and just kept turning over. Battery went flat so I got my other car out the drive to jump it off. As I was starting it it kept trying to fire but not quite starting, just firing every now and then. Kept trying it and all of a sudden a large bang and I think the starter jammed followed by thick black smoke pouring out the engine bay. I quickly shut the ignition off and wipped off the jump leads. Went to move the car I was jumping it off and it stalled and wouldn't start as it had ran out of petrol. Luckily I had a can in the back so I filled that back up and put it back on my drive. Was having another look under the bonnet when I got a tap on the shoulder, the man said "do you know there is a fire under your car !" sure enough as I looked underneath there was a fire on the street under my car, some leaves had caught alight with whatever had happened. Anyone know why the car would suddenly not start and fire sometimes but intermitently and not enough to start it ? Secondly do you think I could have started it too much and caused the starter motor to jam and melt ? I was trying it for a good 5 mins, I have yet to get it in the air and have a look but that is my first guess ! Am having a really shit day. To top it all off I was really late into work and got a *****cking ! Olly. :cry:
