600zx - Finally back to work....
hey Bud. Might not be a good idea to submerge those front top arms in vinegar as the have sealed bearings in them. Might be an idea to wrap the H sections in cloth and soak the cloth. Andy

gulp getting really nervous!
8 years and no where to go = time to get out. I've just done a similar thing and got a £12k payrise. It's a risk as it's a smaller company but better than getting stale at the old company. Go for it but keep an eye out for other opportunities while you are there. If you do have to look for another job in 3 months at least you can say that you are on more money when you see a prospective employer.

It's not the size of the prop mate. It's the bolt pattern where the prop mates to the diff.- update on my swb restoration
BLOODY HELL!!! Only just seen this thread!! Great work buddy. I love the engine bay detail - less is more, less is more! Should be an awesome car when it's finished.- Zed with 25mm front spacers
Hi Gary, Looking much better there. What you may find is that the tyre is rubbing in on the head of one of the fixing screws for the liner (the two uppermost ones). If the scew heads are shiny then those are you culprits. There are two ways you can create a little more space here. 1. grind off about 1mm from the head of the screw leaving enough depth for a crew driver (worth copper greasing the thread at this stage to ease removal at a later date). 2. Bend back the locating lug under the arch that the screw goes into paying careful attention to cracking the paint. Have some clear lacquer and a small paint brush at the ready! (You shouldn't need it really unless you go mental with the mole grips!!)- Sub enclosure templates for SWB Zed
That's better!! Told you it would look better flush with existing boot trim. To get it even try putting some little wedges under the sub box and fix in place when it's level. This also helps isolate the sub and give it a better punch.- Zed with 25mm front spacers
Nice work Gary! That's all it takes to make any car look good IMHO. Are you considering lowering it slightly? Andy- Your F40 Bartflaster

Excellent news!! looking forward to seeing it.- What is Isherwood up to now???
Yes you do! You love it!!- What is Isherwood up to now???
Yep that's pretty much what happened. Sort of.... "Wait there, I'll be about 5 minutes" said Pablito. The next thing I here after lots of fumbling about is "let's play hide the orange and then we can play the yellow waterfall game" At this point it sounded like paul had been fumbling about in my bedroom and then the bathroom door bursts open and this what I see...... "Let the games commence!" After being handed a shoe horn and a comb I was pretty unsuccessful at finding the hidden orange and the yellow waterfall game was a bit one sided. I had no idea that when a man of Paul's sexual persuasion flashes a brown towel around he is actually try ing to tell you something. Not only that I see now the hole practical side of the colour choice for cleaning up after those kind of games. I still have no idea who this Dorothy woman is he keeps insisting that I know but I'm sure it will come back to me soon. Now you are probably wondering why Paul came in with a tape measure round his neck. Well, after I couldn't find where he had hidden the orange Paul said don't worry we can go straight on to the third game........ Tropicana Power Trumpet - my personal best is 5ft 2 inches. I won't go into too much detail about this but can anyone recommend a good way of removing orange peel from an Expelair grill cover? Oh yes and congratulations to rear gunner Pablito on his new personal best - 12ft+ including a ricochet off of a tiled wall. Didn't get any work done on the car and Paul has now gone back to the girlfriends (Brian) in Didcot. I'm feeling a bit dirty and I smell of asparagus for some reason. That's a bit worrying.- Insuring two cars
