  1. Once we have received the funds from you, the club Treasurer will mark you down as paid. In addition, you MUST send your full postal address to the Membership Secretary (Steve-300ZX), via PM. I've sent money for 2 calendars (£20.00) via bank transfer with my user name and now sending Steve my address :)

THE REMOTE CONTROL: Female. Ha! You probably thought it would be male, but consider this: It easily gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know which buttons to push, he just keeps trying that's is the best one....

  13. Thanks to Stuart (Magnum5) :D for fitting my HID's on Sunday and getting round the issue of the connector and to my lovely boyfriend for putting my door back together properly It's great having men around that know about cars :hyper: I can see in the dark now.... while driving Now the bell shaped plastic cover (that goes over the light) has got a rip in it where do I get these covers? Also the ballasts are tucked in with some piping as temporary measure where is the best place to put it in a UK Zed, looks like I gotta take the whole light out.... Help!!!! Would be nice to get it done as the right hand (drivers) light is not situated properly as it was put in incorrectly a long time ago.... :slap:
  14. Ahh the joy of having a boyfriend not a husband, I don't have to explain myself to a partner...got to be some perks to being a single parent I work my ass off at my job, soon will have 2 to 3 jobs and I don't drink(much) or smoke so my zed is my fun.... ( i always wanted a tonka truck I got a doll with a head where I could put makeup on it and brush her hair  So how I spend my money is my business this month boughts some HID's, an outfit for our company day and bought my daughter a winter coat(the one she wanted) can't do more than that as we would be eating beans make sure all my bills are paid first, budgeting and saving for big items is the key, though it took me a long time to understand that
  15. I'm learning no point in worrying about it, if I budget properly we don't have to eat beans! I'm getting into a better financial place now, so I'm just sensible about what I can do,I'd love to get all the work done NOW, who wouldn't priortise what is important, sorted the engine out... :) ordered some decent lights, it scares me when I can't see very well prop then the brakes.. then I will have a new car :hyper:
  16. so do I need both adhesive and the oil? where the hell do I get the oil from? do I just rub it on? or is there a technique :o :p
  17. my seals are leaking round the doors they look fine do I need to put some stuff on them to make them waterproof again? What's it called?
  18. socks god no not YOUR socks... Regassed that sounds painful .... who does that? is that a forum job or a anyone job? thanks Andy someone post that piccie of where to tighten the clamps again! :wack:
  19. couple of things some mornings there is an interesting smell when i get in the car, smells like strong chemical smell, could it be some sort of fluid, clutch, brake etc got the fuel kit from smithy still stinks of petrol only in the morning though and only since it got cold, god will it ever go away? Do I need to tighen them up? I'm getting a Hid kit from Danny, my right light (driver side) is held together by glue and is not aligned properly ... funny that  How do you align the lights or where can i go?, would it be better to get a new light/casing? Anyone got the bolt that goes into the door on drivers side that holds the hand grabby bit down as mine is moving as it has no bolt, and the panel has a couple of thingys that hold it to the door missing Thoughts, suggestions and chocolate bars please Thank you :)
  20. yep my engine is sound... finally ..... yet the body work is well, interesting shades of grey... I'd rather concentrate on good brakes, lights and suspension than how pretty it looks that will come later, next job after the HID's (woohoo) is the prop... and fuel lines then the brakes then.. the bushes... then the paintwork :x: :x: :( Still a work in progress
  21. 20374 heheh Top show hilariously funny all the presenters bounce off each other really well
  22. I agree totally with what you said Slowhand, my heart goes out to his wife and family. I love watching him he is so funny and love him on Brainiac, he has just released a kids book on science which is brillant, my son (he's 12) thinks he's cool and watches Top Gear with me His enthusiasm is just brillant as it is so natural he is such a petrolhead but in a lovely way.... He is a fantastic communicator and is great getting over the concepts in science in a fun way I trust he will be ok and he recovers from this Much love to him and a speedy recovery
  23. Excellent me too, haven't seen one for ages! I always get way too excited as it's a rare occurrence in Leamington, dunno what happened to the rest of us
