Women & thier blind following of fasion
I actually agree with you Mike, I have always had my own style, I even got beat up once cos I was a punk and some girls my age didn't like the fact! :( I slip in and out out of fashion (unintentionally) every few years I don't read any of the mags, you mentioned I prefer classic styling that is still going to be around long after the next fashion trend has gone (again), I also buy clothes that suit my shape (hourglass) and height (i'm 5 foot 8) I have a fab pair of Italian leather boots, that I'm wearing with my skirt right now...., high heeled, they look great and I feel fab in them :D I love summer dresses, dolly shoes, long boots and good fitting jeans, good fitting sexy bras and knickers and tops that flatter my hourglass figure :hyper: I think I'd be more at home in the 1920's to 40's style of clothes with a touch of punk thrown in :D I don't get the jeans into boots thing either and I'm a woman  Some women prefer to follow fashion it's like a religion, I personally have nothing in common with them I suppose they would say we are also mad about our cars The control panty thing some women feel they need that! I just exercise instead I'm not against clothes, looking good and feeling great in the clothes and accessories you wear, it's like anything it just get's out of perspective

Northern ignorance
I drive from London to Warwick up M40, a lot It takes me 1 hour and 30 mins if I'm blatting it in me Zed :hyper: Brum is about another 25 mins on top, again depends what time of day you go I'd allow 2 to 2 and half hours as getting stuck on motorways in London and the Midlands can be a distinct possibility :(

Silly ricer misses gear shifts 3rd to 2nd and crashes car
He looked about 12.... and just freaked so headed for the side of the road, people do weird stuff when they panic Do not give yanks a short shifter :mac1: :nono: When my wheel nuts were happily shearing off on the motorway at 75 miles an hour, Ajay, bless her kept her cool(as she was driving) and we some how got over to the slip road, I was really scared though... but just bit my lip as screaming .. "oh shit, oh shit at least 50 times" wouldn't have helped  Silly boy showing off and not being able to handle it.
