Urgent! Headlights in parts
Thanks a lot for your help, and I have to apologize, just found out, what the problem was! Some little plastic thing (doesn´t look like its from the inside) disturbed the side adjustment, which made me think, I cannot adjust more to right. With a little brutality (didn´t destroy anything *puuha*) I could get it out and now i can center the lense. Will make it light the street up right tomorrow... My carcolour"conversion" took me only 3hours, including the painting, tomorrow a half and its done. Looks really great, though my car is darkblue. Thanks again and sorry for making a senseless thread... :( Greetings, Patrick

Urgent! Headlights in parts
Hope it works: On the pics you can see that looks kinda unnatural, the lightbeam centers also to the middle, doesn´t light at the point, he should... Still normal?

Urgent! Headlights in parts
Hi there, I´ve just "put my headlights in parts", want to paint the inside in carcolour. The passengersside projector lense is far away from an accurate fitting, I always thought it´s because of the accident, the last owner had. But now I see, its mounted well, nothing broken etc inside... Is it normal??? the lense is around 1cm outside of the middle(of the hole from the plastic I want to paint). It looks toward the middle of the car. The PS light shows near to the Dsidelighting point at night... The driversside fits well in the centre... Can someone please look at his Z and tell me? Thanks, Patrick

450Hp-dual intake needed?
If it doesn´t work, why do I know 2 Z-owners who have this setup? Rebuilding is not the thing, this are SPECIAL bearings. Stands all above... I never said, it´s just rebuilding the turbos...

450Hp-dual intake needed?
Hi MarkZX, My K&N does the same, as said before. "Also standard Turbos would also need bigger impellors to push enough air volume to produce 450 RWHP. Even at 1.3 bar. all they will be doing is producing a lot of very hot air which is going to see your pistons off very quickly and not even produce as much power as running at 14 psi." The standardturbos can rev much higher with the special bearings, thats how the higher boostlevel is generated. It works good, believe me :D Standard bearing makes the turbines not run higher than about 1 - 1,1 bar pressure, cause of to much friction. The racing bearing generates less friction (just the same thing as a ballpointbearing) Hope, my english is understood

450Hp-dual intake needed?
"With a single MAF, chip then needs to be mapped to double the readings." That´s what I would do. No problem. (though I heared that the car doesn´t run as smooth as before, also with a good mapping) "The Doolz is a pretty popular dual intake. You can run this many ways:" I already own a K&N dual intake system, would do the job. "What kinda turbos do you use?" That´s kinda new for you, I guess. I am the 3rd austrian to do that. In austria is a specialist for all kind of turbos. They upgrade the stock turbos with "racing bearings", so they can (on the save side) push around 1,3 bar (max 1,6 bar). Costs are around 1000 pounds. It works good and save, good original character stays, just more boost pressure. The first 2 cars run amazing good... Have already all parts at home, exept the Nismo 555...

450 RWHP But thats all "circa"

450Hp-dual intake needed?
I can get my ecu programmed, so "it knows" that there is a filter per side(doubles it) But I heared, the "bad" running stays also with this...

450Hp-dual intake needed?
Hi, im thinking about upgrading my Z. Running 0,9 bar now. The mods I like to make will bring +450hp but less than 500. I already have a K&N dualintake at home, but now I read that it makes the car running "less smooth" and I think I don´t like that... Have already a K&N cone Filter mounted. Do I need a dualintake when running aroun 1,2 - 1,3 bar boost? Sorry, don´t know it in psi... Thanks, Patrick

what would be the right offset for 18 x 9.5 on the front
I´ve also 8,5 with offset35 on the front, guess its not possible to get 9,5 in without making wider... By the way, I had to fit 5mm distances each side cause the rims touched the calipers. Some rims fit, some don´t. Even if they got the same data...

"Heat-shield" inside the hood
Disco-Stew´s äähhhh I mean beegeeVinz´s hood is quite cool, have to do that (guess the enginebling was more expensive than my whole ride) How does it sound when the bonnet is naked?

"Heat-shield" inside the hood
Hello again, I would like to take away the grey "heatshield", that is mounted on the inside of the engine hood. - Just for better looks, - maybe do some mirror-foil there (if my english is understood :mac1: ) Does it give problems with the paint outside the hood? Does the hood get to hot? (Austria has a higher average-temp. than the UK) Thanks in advance, Patrick

Installing-guide for BOV
Thanks scubie, I wouldn´t know what to do without this forum! Our german and austrian forum is ok, but for example in A there are only around 20-30 Z32 left (that are actually driving). There are a 1000s more Z-Cracks here  Patrick

I´ve got mine installed from my Z-Mechanic-mate, but I can´t reach him, and someone in our austrian-forum needs fast help with the install. Most important is the name of the hose in which the bov is putten in Does someone of you have a link with instructions for me? Looked at Robo´s and Haken´s site, but couldn´t find... Thanks in advance! PS: Search didn´t do the job

Pimp my stock-calipers
Hi to all, Thanks, I´m going to try this, make all parts move good etc... But I think I´m gonna get me these 350Z-Track - conversion. Costs are good, but transfer from US to austria is quite expensive. (German sellers give no good prizes) Thanks!
