  1. LOL I said not to call me that in public :slap:
  2. Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) - little black bow on the pass side of the plenum - faults will cause strange revving and gearchanging in an auto. It needs setting up to work properly, this could be the problem, if you are handy with a multimeter this is a doddle. Also could be a corroded connector on it. A new unit is only £40 from Nissan anyway. Pete
  3. Thats poofter's talk that is :D

About... ;) Manual TT 0-60 5.6s, Auto 5.7s, NA 7.1ish 1/4mile, I've heard 13.8s for a standard TT but I think 14.4 is closer to reality with street tyres and our dragstrips. Autos are supposed to be slightly quicker to 100, which is about what you'd expect to pass 1/4mile at in a stock TT. NA 1/4mile - dunno, 15.5 maybe?
  5. Cheers Mark - wow quicker wing mirror action is a new one :D But livelier is a great word for the difference, I might use that one ;) Just admiring your bodykit on your car - that is one of the few i really like, fecking gorgeous, really suits a white zed  Pete
  6. How would an MOT test determine if the ABS had been removed? Assuming you take the warning bulb out lol Should lose a bit more weight John... is it true that you and Nelson are actually the same person, I mean - I've never seen you in the same room at the same time
  7. LMFAO!! What? - Scoops in a bad mood? Never! :D
  8. Decatted about 2.5 years ago, stock boost til a year ago then 12.5psi, no turbo issues.
  9. Good point Jock, therefore I think Pod days out should come out of club funds :D:D Matty - £3k + how much since though? ;)
  10. LOL Maybe you should start a viral warning email to all carjackers Stu :D:D
  11. Tune in your bloody TV would ya!! :slap::D:D:D :dance:
  12. Cheers boys :) Just back off to the hospital, where she'll be all week, needless to say I've got a list of errands/housework/diy projects as long as my arm to do for the rest of the week lol.
  13. Picture of the new arrival...

  19. Great stuff Alex - we had every confidence in you :D:D
  20. How do you actually make a chip from this? Is it a case of flying around with a passenger controlling the laptop, tweaking certain parameters whilst the driver tries out different things? Then you save it and write a chip at home?
  21. Smooth Leigh v smooth :D:D
  22. Hi mate - I've got some in my sig of me racing at TSC4 c/o SMW1s site  Cheers Pete
  23. Sleep easy and pay up? Thats that "roll over and be fooked up the arse" attitude that the police rely on for their cash generation schemes to continue so well  Costwise, assuming you go through a solicitor - worst case, hundred or so £ fine plus couple of hundred £ legal costs and your 3 points. Best case - nothing, no fine, costs reimbursed. Do nothing case, £60, 3 points, closer to losing the licence and insurance up for 4 years...
  24. You could try the AA Legal Services helpline Roy, they were v helpful to me once. Although I was a member they never asked so try them - they are v knowledgeable. These speeding laws are changing all the time as precedents are set (or not set) so check it out yourself with a solicitor. I got off a loss of licence because they couldn't prove who was driving the car... took a long time and in the end cost me nothing and I kept my licence. Good luck Pete
