  20. Has anyone had/seen the following email requiring website registration? Just wanna know if its a scam? Cheers Pete ------------------------------------- From : Network Solutions Reply-To : "Network Solutions" Sent : 29 October 2004 14:51:25 To : peter_edgarAThotmail.com Subject : New Regulations Regarding Domain Name Information Dear Domain Name Registrant, Did you know that current rules require all domain name registrars to list the information you provide when you register a domain name in a public database known as WHOIS? The regulation further requires that this information be presented to you annually to verify the accuracy of the information and to have you update if necessary. You are receiving this communication because when you registered a domain name through your domain name registration service provider, you also became a customer of Network Solutions®. Network Solutions® provides support and services to companies that sell or provide domain name registrations through a partner program. Domain names registered through these partner companies are listed in our database and managed by the partner companies. Complying with Industry Policies We are a registrar accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the non-profit corporation responsible for oversight of the domain name system and for accrediting domain name registrars. A policy established by ICANN requires that we contact each registrant who is a customer of Network Solutions® and request that such registrants verify the accuracy of their WHOIS domain name information. Registrants are responsible for ensuring this information is current, and ICANN mandates that outdated contact information can be grounds for domain name cancellation. Reviewing Your Domain Name Information As you are the registrant of the domain name(s) registered with Network Solutions®, we ask that you ensure that all of your information listed in WHOIS is accurate – including your mailing address, e-mail address, and the Administrative and Technical contacts assigned to each domain name. Click here to view the WHOIS information for the domain names registered through Network Solutions®. If you are unsure about the information presented or see information that needs updating, we ask that you contact your domain name service provider with any questions you may have or to make the necessary changes. 21. Just got an email from lycos saying my site has had over 800 hits in the past month. I noticed it linked an old simple site I set up a few years back, originally for picture hosting but I added a few links and bits about my interests including my mondeo at the time... It had a few "subtle" mods, and has now been posted up on barryboys.co.uk  Class!!! Fook knows how they found the site as I havent touched it etc for years. Well I was poor and pennyless! :D:D Go on then... heres the site: http://members.lycos.co.uk/peteredgar/ :D Check out the two new guestbook entries
  22. I know the guy who does the chromed bits in the US, he's a decent chap, been in touch since he bought a grounding kit earlier this year. Did me my leather trimmed cupholders too.
  23. Cheers Gio :D Doesnt stop them being :xxx: tho :p
  24. Oh yeah - your mate hasn't paypalled yet
  25. Hi mate I spent an hour after work ravaging my headlamp panel this evening :( Couldn't get the bonnet open though, I need more time and light. The cable is moving the catch but the bonnet isnt releasing  I will send you your rad hose back and sort the hard pipe out after I'm back a week on the 30th, as I'm off first thing tomorrow. Fooking hands are stinging like like big stingythings :( Note to self, wear gloves next time you attack fibreglass. Any ideas on opening the bonnet would be appreciated from anyone :) The bonnet is a nice vented one so I dont want to damage it. Reaching the catch is made all the more difficult by the SS headlamp panel  Can the bonnet catch assembly be unbolted from through the headlamp panel hole? Cheers Pete
