sick of people running our country down
Luxury! My grandad had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before he went to bed, drink a cup of sulfuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when he got home, his Dad and Mother would kill him, and dance about on his grave singing "Hallelujah".

Gtech 60-0 brake test
Aye true. Also, its amazing what difference simply changing the brake fluid can make, something a lot of people overlook.

Gtech 60-0 brake test
Yeah it gives you a shock doesn't it hehe! I wonder if there's any way an older car's braking could be improved to that extent. Must be an improvement in the servo or something? My S13 brakes are awesome compared to what they were as standard, but still nowhere near the likes of a Focus for responsiveness and ease of use.

Gtech 60-0 brake test
The braking effectiveness of new cars nowadays is mental though, my mrs' meriva will happily throw driver, passengers and shopping through the front window if you flex your big toe too hard. Add to that decent ABS and new-fangled Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) Cornering Brake Control (CBC) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) :wack: and you can see why. Would be interesting to get a few results

Is it sacriledge?
Suggested what? ;) I wasn't happy with mine tbh after I bumped it, and there were still a few niggles which would've cost a bit to sort out, which was the deciding factor in choosing to break it. I decided I'd get more money breaking it. Though its a massive massive hassle, so I'd only do it if you had no choice financially and needed to get rid :) Still miss overdrive off on the motorway hehe, nothing I could do to my S13 will touch the 80+mph acceleration of a 300

resister mod
You're kidding right? I seriously hope no one has tried the resistor thing :wack: Those mods won't make it run lean, that's what the AFM is for - to measure the air flow and squirt the required fuel in.

Posting stuff to Europe
UPS or the like will collect it from you. I paid ~£80 to send a clutch and flywheel to France which weighed 18kg.
