great news on the purchase mate, dont know about the gearbox but the grinding on the brakes might be glazed over, just check to make sure they got some meat left on them tho. need to get it in the air to check the oil leak. if its from the rear could be rear main seal.

Hi all, had a misfire/rough running on my vehicle for ages and still cant clear it, basically it runs rich and uses loads of fuel and feels like theres a cly down or misfiring. this doesnt happen all the time but when it does it noticable. when its happening the revs sit where they should at the 850rpm area but when the engine is running smooth and fine the revs are at 1100rpm?? (why would the revs go higher?) this is what ive replaced and done and its made a little difference but not a lot. Replaced Both O2 sensors Temp Sensor + Plug Hot idle Valve One Coil Pack Checked/repaired All boost leaks cleaned throttle bodies Been set up by Z world Compression Check Cleaned Idle valve Cleaned Injector + Coil Connectors Any more ideas lol completely standard except for air filter Regards Andy

Been thinking of selling both cars for sometime now and having just one. Have to options in mind both totally different. C-Class Couple 220CDI about a 2005 or a Chrysler 300C 3.0CRD 2007 (57). now my mrs like the coupe because its a 2 door but for 3k less i can have more with the 300c, a hell of a lot more. As i work for mb,chrysler and smart i get them at cost price and really finding it hard to turn down this vehicle. but just want peoples options first lol so here it goes.

hmm these could be related. have you got standard exhaust or aftermarket, the only reason is on the standard there is a x-pipe so would get white smoke out of both but if its aftermarket could be headgasket, white smoke is usually water. could be loosing compression aswell giving you low boost. if you are loosing coolant this could also be related to headgasket. only ideas tho need to get it checked out.

cant fail on the rear wiper not required for it. Think airbag light is advisory but not fail. Hope someone else agrees lol
