  1. its been a major pain and i will take great pleasure taking it apart!:hyper::smash: dan.:)
  2. i had it powder coated so going to do an autopsy on it at the weekend!:smash: dan.:D
  3. well i put the old pas pot back on and its seems to have worked!:confused: still dont feel perfect but getting somewhere now.:smash: dan.:)
  4. jack front car up, top up pas pot turn ignition on and turn steering full lock both sides several times and keep topping up fluid as it goes down, then start car and do the same again until the fluid stops going down, put top back on. ( going to try me old pas pot tonight keep your fingers crossed for PLEAZE! ) dan.:mad:

  7. well its had that much new fluid in it its still red, all this cause i changed to the powdercoated pas pot! is it really worth it? dan.:(
  8. i am not sure! the fluid in the pas pot is getting hot so does that mean its getting worked around the system? dan.:mad:
  9. i got no leaks from any pipes and no leaks from the rack so stumped. dan.:)
  10. took it off again tonight, the pas pot and the large pipe down to the pump fitted it all back and put fluid in when i start the car i can hear the pump rattling and as i put in the fluid and turn left,right it go's quite and the fluid go's away so top up but the steering is still heavy!:headvswal dan. :mad:

  13. thanks mike, if i replace it do i need to bleed the hicas as well as the powersteering? dan.:)
  14. no. anyway of checking the pump? or whats involved in removing it? dan.:mad:
  15. bled it 3 times. I thought the big pipe at the bottom of pas pot was split but its not so it had fliud! tried bleeding it again you can see the fluid level going down when start bleeding it but still heavy so taken the pas pot off again and the large hose to pump to check over and its ok no splits, what next? dan.:(
  16. steering was fine, replaced me pas pot with the powdercoated one done all the bleed prosedures ect but me steering is heavy now :headvswal any ideas PLEASE? dan.:(

  18. how do you drain the power steering fluid and what type of fluid do you use? dan.:)
  19. just took the zed for a clean, steering was a bit heavy parked up and power steering fluid all over the floor!:headvswal so no zed for me and its started raining.:rant: so will be bumming a lift with either paddysx or lefty.:o dan.:(

  21. i know someone who bought a car about 9 months ago and filled in all the form to be sent away has got the little tear off bit but no log book to date from the dvla! me thinks the seller didnt send off the form, he hasnt chased it up and the car is off the road still will he be stuffed when it comes time to tax it? dan.:)
