  1. not sure but it may have been around chesterfield a few years ago in a 2 tone red /pink I remember it on the custom scene in the 80s as it stands out from other ford classics
  2. As Thoresby was cancelled the wife had a great idea for me to sort out the garage and the shed. Its amazing what you forget what youve got.In the garage i found some old workshop manuals for a 1947 Vauxhall 12 and in the shed the dog found a large toad(as youve probably seen in the news recently its rather damp in Doncaster)which he promptly ran off with and ate, much to the wifes disgust. He then spent a good hour searching for more.
  3. cheers Andy found out a while ago
  4. in reply Sarah I try to get to the local meets as you know but I work a lot of weekends May see you at Thoresby if weather holds out as Donny is still under a deluge and with rain forcast for the weekend may struggle to get there
  5. spoke to my mate big Gaz .he builds custom cars still and he suggests you try Pilkington Automotive LTD their phone number is 01795 96100 They made him a couple of one off screens and they wernt that dear they also stock classic car screens so they may have a screen in stock.I hope this helps
  6. some years ago when I was in the custom car scene there was a company in the midlands that specialised in making one off screens but for the life of me I cant remember who it was Ill ask some of my old mates if anyone knows who they are. I seem to remember that the first one would be fairly expensive (as they had to make the mould) but the more that they made the cheaper it was .So if they are as scarce as you say it may well be worth a few of you with roofless zeds getting together and buying a few and sharing the costs
  7. Help passenger door started leaking in at front.Does anyone know if new ones are still available and where from? any help appreciated

  11. just before jeromes untimely passing I purchaced a pair of targa bags from him and sent him a cheque for £30.I have noticed that it has not been cashed.if anyone knows his family then could you get them to check papers etc as im sure im not the only one who bought from him just before his passing and his family may well have a few that need cashing I would feel very guilty if the cheque got overlooked and was never cashed

Hi All just got home after a fortnight in Cornwall .Must say a big thanks to Lisaf and Dave(wow) for meeting Ann and I in Plymouth and running to the racing with us.I found it to be a good day out even if it was 125 miles from our caravan but nice to meet zogg lisaf and Wow again and to meet Funky Si and the crew from SWZ. Sorry we couldnt come to the pub but had made arrangements for later that evening.Ann found it very amusing when the guy in the Z31(the very dodgy white one)backed up almost through the fencing. The meeting itself took me back to my custon car days and I was very pleasently surprised to see not one but two of my favourite british hot rods the Green fordson van and the white 34 ford. hope to meet up again soon ,cant make the 1st of July though but if anything is planned later in the year hopefully we will attend.Oh yes Ann took some photos of the zeds and will try to post them but as usual she didnt bother taking one of my car as she says I have too many photos of it already.Cheers
