  1. hi m8 i've re-shelled a couple of cars and in my opinion it aint worth the hassle unless its realy rare, your gonna make loads of money or you luv it its a lot of work. its just my opinion, personaly i'd just buy a donor transfer wot i needed an sell the rest. out of intrest see e-bay item 180034679015 hope this helps m8

  3. just a suggestion call in any fast fit e.g kwik fit tell em wot your doin they'll usualy give you a tub, cos they fit em all the time it's usualy pretty good stuff

    personaly m8 wouldnt touch pirelli found them great in dry rubbish in wet, if you look round you'll find allthe major tyre companys have a second brand name they use these to not cheepen the 1st name, pirelli have ceat michelin-riken, continental-uniroyal pirelli now have merged or taken over goodyear the best gripping and lasting tyre we found was michelins but i've got good year on mine and they've been great hope this helps found out by working at kwik fit for 8 yrs cheers pete

  6. i've just fitted some reverse gauges on my j-spec tt new gauges go to 160mph old gauges 180 kph can anyone tell me what i need to do to get gauges to read correct mph on the new clocks. cheers pete :bow:

  9. can anyone plz help as i'm a bit stumped. when i got the car the drivers window was inop, tested motor its fine checked switches fine this left me with the relay in the drivers door replaced this window worked fine for a week now its gone back to how it was :headvswal

  13. hi mate last year i fitted a full kit to a mini i found that fibre glass is not realy that good the trade use a bonding agent called stickaflex this is used to bond original wings etc i found that if you position with a couple of self tapers make sure its exactly where you want then remove from car apply stickaflex re-hang apply self tapers until stickaflex goes off remove self tappers and fill small hole, also remember if its a kit where edges meet each other hang both parts to achieve correct position hope this helps cheers pete
