I've had this 300ZX fo about 20 years now it's a naturally asperated z32 soft top jap import it's been standing for some time, tryed to start it recently and nothing happens thought at first the starter motor was stuck but my son who is a mechanic has checked this and it is fine and works when he gives it power we located the starter relay and that seems fine too but there is no signal getting from the ignition to the starter motor and we can not get it to fire we are trying to find the inhibitor switch on the auto gear box now to see if that is working the battery is fine but we are getting nothing to work from the ignition what are we missing here, are common faults that prevent these cars from starting from the key any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated thankyou
