i just thought mate, did you earth the housing or the ground wire of the plug? i only say this as if i remember correctly hid bulbs have a plastic base (the bit that is held in by the bulb holder clip) so earthing the housing would make no difference. my hid kit came with two spade terminals which i just plugged straight into the h3c bulb plug. just a thought ;)

my car is also JDM mate and ive tried it and it works perfect! all i did was crimp a wire on the ground wire of each of the dipped headlight bulb plugs and then found a ground point on the chassis of the car. hey presto...worked a treat :dance: :tongue:

yea i know, but its nod doing my HID's much good them being switched on and off everytime i wanna flash someone.

Hi there, ive notced (and im sure every other zx owner has too) that when my headlights are on and you go to flash someone the dipped headlights switch off until you've finished flashing. ive done a search and found this problem asked once or twice before but with no replies with a solution. just wondered if anyone had found a way to keep the dipped lights on while flashing someone, and then obviously off when switching to main beam?? cheers, sean.

Hi, just wondered if anyone could tell me how to get my car to blow cold air (its not a stupid question :tongue: ) every time i turn the blower on all i get is hot air...the temp dial is set at 10, still i get nothing but hot air. The air con system has been removed by the previous owner so would this have anything to do with the problem? any ideas? cheers, sean.

Would it not be possible to use riv-nuts if there is just a small hole the size of the bolt??? or could you weld a small plate over the hole if its big, (you could drill a hole through the plate before you weld it an spot tack a nut on the back of it) the above may or may not work or be possible...just an idea is all :rolleyes: ;) Sean.

hi all, im having some slight idling problems with my car. when i first start it up...it revs to about 1100/1200rpm for a few mins until it warms up and slows down but only to around 800-900rpm but my problem is that it doesent sit there...it revs up then slows down then revs up an slows down an just keeps doing that. ive plugged my conzult in, and as soon as i click on the idle speed button, it slows right down and stalls. it does exactly the same when i do any of the diagnostic tests too. anyone got any suggestions? should i try resetting the ecu? cheers, sean.
