B19 RPH Restoration.
Finally getting somewhere. Ready for assembly now. I took the fuel tank off, was dreading opening it up to have a look inside after the car being off the road for so long. To my supprise I could eat my dinner off the inside. Well happy with that.

B19 RPH Restoration.
Almost ready for re assembly the press has been awsome a bit of equipment I wish I had bought years ago. Just the diff to tart up now then put back on the car. Next task is to refurb the rear calipers. Got a caliper overhaul kit with all the pistons and seals. Fuel tank needs to be removed for a clean up. Will be nice to see it on its wheels again so I can move it around before working on the front axle and possibly engine and gearbox removal.

Bit more progress, few more parts ordered. Struggling to remove the rear Hicas ball joints at the moment. Once they are removed the rear subframe can be put back together. New rear wheel bearings on the way from Japan, cooked them when removing the driveshafts from the hub with oxy/acetylene they were a bit rough anyway. In all the excitement of removing and stripping the hub assembly(both sides ) I now have a worktop full of bits and bobs, is there any haynes equivalent for the z32? With exploded diagrams,I was gutted to say to my wife when she got me a haynes Manual for the Z31 it wasn't quite the same. But we'll chuffed that she took a bit of interest.

Bit more progress. Subframe bushes arriving tomorrow from EXo racing. Has anyone ever used the CZP sleves. I have received them, but no instructions on how they go. Will probably be self explaniraty when the bushes arrive. Just want a heads up.

Have I jumped the Gun?
Not sure how the purple ones in the pic would fit with the outer sleve still In as the sleeve has a shoulder.🤷♂️ I haven't bought any yet was just looking to remove them for now to sent the frame to powdercoat.

Have I jumped the Gun?
Cheers just doing some head scratching Trying to figure out how these would even fit with the outer sleeve still fitted as the underside one wouldn't fit through

Have I jumped the Gun?
Just taking subframe bushes out at the moment. I was looking to fit the driftworks purple ones like in the pic. Have I gone too far with removing the sleeves. Or is my option now solids? Many thanks

Cheers Richard. It's not a GTE. Had a few in the past, just recently helped a friend restore his. Saved mine from a scrappy 20yrs ago for £50

B19 RPH Restoration.
It hadn't moved in over 10 years. Fairly crusty underneath but seemes to be limited to subframes and replaceable items. The floor itself seems to be in good order. Some welding required on rear corners, the radiator x member is completely shot. But managed to get a replacement. Looking for reccomendations for all the bushings. Energy seem to crop up all the time but at the moment I'm still trying to figure out what the 'full' kit covers. ( I don't think they include the bushings for rear knuckles)

Going to start a journal for my300zx manual TT import. It's quite Rough. But salvageable ( although I have seen people brake ones in much better condition.) Looking forward to it. already had a look over it. Bought it without seeing it move under its own steam. The engine sounds sweet and by all accounts the engine has been reported to have some forged items put in, with larger turbos and stuff. Although no documentation to back this up, but it's evident it isn't standard. I will look forward restoring it.

Subframe/suspension components bushings.
Cheers mate but I think I'll buy a complete kit. I'll be sending my subframes and components for stripping and coating so I'll be putting new bushes everywhere. Many thanks for the suggestion though.

Subframe/suspension components bushings.
Cheers Bones. I did come across your underbody topic. It looks like mine has similar issues to what yours had in the rear wing bumper area.

Subframe/suspension components bushings.
In the next few weeks I'll be removing the rear subframe to overhaul it (mediablast and paint or powdercoat ) and all suspention/steering components attached to it. Will be doing front at later date. Is there a particular go to brand or a one stop shop. I've seen a few kits but unsure of what's a good compromise between hardness and comfort. I'm familiar with powerflex but seen a few other brands that seem to be good value. Any links would be helpful. Im New to the club so getting my head around the forum and theb search facility slowly. Many thanks.
