did the car over heat at all before the hoses went? if it didnt then i wouldnt think its the stat or water pump also when the temp goes up does the auxillery fan kick in?

stock gauge isnt very reliable to say the least, could have an air lock in system and system not completly full sometimes they are a pig to get all the air out

its possible the others you have driven could of been in safety boost, quite a lot are running around in safety boost, some dont even know they are. To be honest it would be a waste of time having a car tuned and chipped and keeping the limiter, defeats the object of having it chipped and boost raised. Are you sure your car has been chipped, or are you surmising because your car seems faster?

yep i agree with all the above, its fookin roundabouts that fook me off, since when has it been that you dont have to signal going round a roundabout, and the twats who indicate to turn off 2 exits before their turn off?
