  3. shubunkins are quite nice, hardy and come in a variaty of colours and dont get as big as koi and dont need quite the specialist filter systems and large ponds that koi need, as long as a pond is at least 2ft deep and a decent biological filter shubunkins and goldfish will be fine. Its sort of true fish grow to the size of their inviroment, they stop growing on the outside but their insides still grow, so try make a big a pond as poss. Are you getting a pre formed pond or using a liner? shubunkin

  8. Hi welcome to the forum and welcome to zed ownership, you will find the help and advise forum very handy and as a zed owner you will be spending most of your time in here, lol just kidding-ish. Seriously. Firstly the stock oil pressure gauge isnt the most reliable as with most of the gauges in the zed, if you can get a good after market oil pressure, water temp, boost gauge etc fitted that will give a more accurate reading, its most likley to be the stock gauge or sender the oil pumps are pretty good on the zed. With the speedo its most likley to be the motor behind the clock as they are electric not cable, you will have to replace the clock, i had the same thing on a 200sx, and while the clocks are out you can do away with the limiter if its still fitted. there is a conversion kit you can get to fit behind the clocks this can be done at the same time as the clocks are out and it does away with the limiter too i think. UK clocks go up to 180mph Nissan are rip off cnuts and most of the people there have never worked on these cars, zeds do require specialists knowledge as they are so complicated, i dont personally know of any one in your area who has good knowledge of the zed. Good luck anyway

The VG30DE(TT) is quite a low tollerence engine whice means its possible damage can occure when the belt snaps, but i've heard conflicting stories when cam belts snap. Some i've heard have said they had no damage other's have said its done major damage. Read this. Good luck hope all is fine when you replace the belt http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=153920&postcount=1
  11. stock boost is about 9psi mate :)
  12. what make of bov's are they? The hole at the end could be where an adjuster should skrew into, if thats missing it possible it could be loosing pressure through the hole.
  13. if i had a lass lol esp 1 like that, i wouldnt be on here i'd be missing in action somewhere south of the naval :hurl:

  20. i think i see what your saying, by the sounds of it you have the bov's fitted to the in take pipe, the metal pipe you can feel if you put your hand up inside the nose? That is the 1 that needs to be bunged up. and bov's need to be fitted on the rubber pipes that go behind the rad as in pic, sounds like you have them on the wrong pipes and your losing intake air pressure through the bov's thats why your not getting the power and the car is running rich and burning to much juice because your having to be harder on the gas to get any power. You need the bov's on the turbo outlet side of the pipe work that goes into the intercooler not on the outlet side of the intercooler, which goes into the plenum(air intake). The vacuum pipes you use for the bov's are the ones the recircs used that are already there
  21. what other pipe work in the engine bay are you talking about? The only pipe work that needs to be bunged is the hole in the intake pipe that the old recirc pipe came from, the other end of the recirc pipe work is where your bov's should be as in the pic i posted on your other thread, nothing in the engine bay needs to be bunged up, or maybe im miss understanding what you mean if you could put a pic up of how you have fitted the bov's may help. I think you may have reduced air flow into the engine which is why its not getting full power if you have bunged something up you shouldnt of
  22. they are a bit small but ok if running stock boost, they do the job but not as good as bigger ones will do. And they start to max out at around 12psi-1bar of boost, no good after that
  23. or did they play on a pitch like this :hurl: :hurl: stroof thats some beard:rofl:
