I think people might be getting mixed up, with the gearbox gears and the rear differential gears?

Leader gears do not increase power to the wheels, but concentrate the power so that it decreases the final top end speed but increases the speed at which you get to it. It's like selecting a smaller gear on your bike, enablening you to build up speed quicker but restricting your top end slightly. I love the 4.1 gear ratio, in my opinion it transforms the car from a grand tourer to a sports car!

Watch out the front suspension on these are complicated and rumoured to require a rebuild every 60k, also the head gasket are little prone to going!

I wouldn't use it, it makes the air do an extra 360 turn around which will increase lag and inefficiency!

I kept the na diff (same ratio) on my tt conversion and have to admit it totally tranforms the car, it is a real pleasure to drive and ultra responsive!

I think the easiest solution is to get the richer gears diff, the no tears before bedtime option :)
