  1. Mate not really sure it is entirely the members fault here! 1. You can't really organise a poll on where to meet, get a result from a poll and then ignore the poll and chose another venue completely! 2. You don't organise a big meeting in the middle of the holiday season, when a lot of peoples finances and attention will be concentrated on their holidays! Reorganise this for the middle to the end of september and I think it will be popular, we have had in excess of 30 cars at Brighton meetings before!
  2. Have got a proper koyo bracket brand new if you want it £55?
  3. Thurs/fri no good for me, why don't you guys try changing the ecu first if it doesn't work then bring it over to me :) Have u got a boost controller rocket?
  4. Thurs fri no good for me, why don't you guys try changing the ecu first if it doesn't work then bring it over to me :)
  5. EXCELLENT, seriously though it is prob easier to swap ecus, than faff about getting access to the boost solenoids plugs! If it ain't that it is going to be odds on a boost leak!
  6. Give me a bell and we can have a chat?
  7. Your det sensor is fine from the conzult reading I did a few weeks ago, they don't pack up overnight and take a while to deteriorate, it would have shown on the conzult if there was a problem! Try swapping ecu's with another friendly zed owner, or check there is a live feed to your boost solenoids, or get a boost leak check, either one of these is odds on to be your problem!
  8. A friend of mine is sticking a bmw 3.5 diesel twin tubby to a zed should be interesting :)
  9. No the carbon in the exhaust absorbs the oil from the previous leak, then as it heats up it smokes like it did previously, there is no way an external oil leak in the engine bay will cause smoke to come out the exhausts at the rear!
  10. Sometimes the feeds to the boost solenoids at the ecu konk out and check that you have electrikery going the boost solenoids, if you don't it will be in safety boost!
  11. Thought it was a party seven, was gonna say it won't stay cool next to the lump :D
  12. Forgot to say when you have oil burning in your exhaust system it permeates the system and when the exhaust heats up you get the smoke reappearing, this can be because it has just leached into the exhaust and is burning off!
  13. White smoke could just be condensation build up, blue/grey smoke is usually tubs!
  14. O2 sensors and Det sensor were fine, according to my conzult reading a couple of weeks ago! Hissing prob means a boost leak, sort that out asap!
  15. Nice would like to see them in the flesh :)
  16. One last favour, could someone just paint the A pillar and door mirrors black please?
  17. Thanks for letting us know, I will be coming off nights so don't think I will be up for making it!
  18. Would be interested in the pics,I am after some parts from the same colour cars!
  19. Hi ever are you in richmond london or youuuurkshire?
  20. Bloody el Mike I am gutted, all I can is thanks and to all who don't know Mike, he has worked hard behind the scenes and his company has hosted this forum for a long time free of charge!
  21. Have made a set of these up and no longer have the room for them £60 if anyone wants to pick them up!
  22. LOL there isn't any room to get normal spanners in!
  23. You may be doing yourself an injustice by changing that frequently, oil when it is first changed has a tendency to eat away at gaskets!
  24. The only trouble with smashing off the top is that you can stress the turbo/gaskets and/or manifold and gaskets!
  25. They have room down there to stick an extra litre in, just wondering why noone ever bothered, ok it may keep the service costs down for nissan, but there isn't an aftermarket version available!
