My bet is that it is the weight of the tailgate that causes them to crack. On my convertibles or my SWB, neither of them have cracked and I think this is due to the lighter boot/tailgate. Are there any other SWB owners out there who can tell me if their lenses are cracked? Mark

A lot will depend upon where you live, but in my rural idyl (!) I managed to get insured on an import for under £500 What he means is he got his Man Servant to ring around for him!!!;) LOL Mark

Hi Tim The aus site UAS attribute part of the reasons for this bearing failure as being down to the engine mounts going, but obviously this is a far bigger job! Mark

I think that people should be able to post and read the for sale section without subscribing, this might stop people who only have one or two items or a car for sale, posting and stop us getting the bargains. Its £15 to put an ad in the Autotrader site, if we charge £20 for subs, they will probably put their luverley zeds in the cheaper site! Sure we've paid twenty quid, but if we restrict the forum too much it could fade away to resemble the ghost town that is known as the Z club! Hello Mate, If you do a search or post on twinturbo.net, theres a company in the states who do the complete kit for a very cheap price and I got two tension rod bushes for the front for about 40ish quid all in. Can't remember their name off the top of me head! Mark

Hi Guys, I've just joined the fan club of Peter at PPS, just done a top paint job on my Z and it does look exceedingly good for very little outlay. Top Bloke as well picked me up from Newcastle airport and helped to fix my Z (with the help of Macca Jaylox and ChrisC, cheers guys)when it didn't start! Anybody down south wanting some paintwork done, I would advise you to go up there! The flights from Stansted are £25!!!!!! and the quality of work and the price would be difficult to get down south!
