Hi all, just wondering if recaro sub frames are available for the 300zx. I have a lovely set of speeds in my current car (which I managed to purchase original sub frames for after allot of hard work) . I’m looking at a short wheel base with cloth interior and think the Recaros would be a great upgrade. :cool3:

Has the car still got its carputer installed? If so it has diagnostic software installed

Unfortunately not enough interest for a club stand with only a few weeks left. I'm still going to go as its a great day. I hope to see a few 300's in the car park.

Unfortunately the purchase did not go through on the Z i was after. I however don’t mind sorting this out still if there is enough interest. I currently sort out the club stand at Duxford war museum for another car club. http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/ They have a car show on the 2nd of may (bank holiday weekend) and wondered if this club would be interested. I currently don’t have a 300 (but hoping to collect on the 5th of March) so don’t really know how the events get organised for this club. Its a great day loads to she and loads of cars. You park next to the American hanger, tickets include full access and are nearly half price.

Possible to get hold of Recaro rails for the 300ZX, or would you have to fabricate some? I’m not 100% they suit the car.

Oh, so you’re not selling in the next few weeks then, i was about to make an offer. I love red cars and it looks like loads of love has gone into her. I notice your in Essex, what garage do you take your Z to, what’s the difference in rear ends is it to do with hicas?

Is there a half way house meet on the 7th? If so what time does it start? I will try to pop down even though I don’t have the Z yet. Good to know all imports have folding mirrors.

i'm a little worried i'm going to miss the 2's go-kart handling. The Z i'm looking at is a 96 manual TT. Can the Z still be fun around the twisties, and trown around?

I have also had a Supra, started as the usual twin turbo ended up with a T61 single. I love my mr2, go-kart handling, very fun to drive. How do you find the mr2 compared to the Z. Was yours the twin turbo Z?

Silly question, can someone measure the width of their 300 including the wing mirrors, from the tip of the left to the right mirror please. CM or mm please. I can only find measurements of the car. Thank you.

Earlier models rev1-2 can have head gasket failure, turbos aren’t as good, smaller injectors, slightly different head.

I’m coming from the mr2 turbo route to the 300ZX. My mr2 will be for sale soon when I purchase the Z hopefully March, if you fancy keeping with a t-bar car. Around 300bhp at the fly is easily achieved on a rev3 + engine, which the white one you’re looking at should have. Simply breathing and boost increase modes will do the trick. Ct20 turbos are good for 1.2 bar all day long.
