  1. Had an injector changed at Zedworld! Running sweet now.
  2. Jeff did a fantastic job replacing my injector, it's not a job I would of had the nerve to do by myself. The drive home was so much more enjoyable than the drive to Zedworld. Many Thx Jeff! And thankyou Linda for the refreshments.:bow::bow:
  3. Very nice wheels Jeff! I love Rays wheels. Something about them that makes them stand out from the rest....
  4. That's quite shocking! So easy to assume the tyres are good when looked at from the outside wall.
  5. That's good news Jeff! I have 2 other chips, one had same effect with engine light on and the other I'm not sure about. Can a bad loom damage a chip once connected and ignition switched on? Do you have a performance chip you could fit and send back with ecu? I can pay you through PayPal. Many Thx. :thumbup1::thumbup1::thumbup:
  6. Thanks for all your help. I will check ecu. Will post or try and drop into you Jeff. Many Thx. Just a quick question, how easy are the injector plugs to get to? Do I have to remove anything to get to number 6 injector?
  7. Cheers for your quick reply guys, Jeff I have gone back to stock chip and still the same. Is there any way to test the ecu unit? It won't even let me do any diagnostics?
  8. Hi everyone, I would like to pick your brains on a problem that occurred yesterday on my 91 N\A 2+2. Started running on 5 cylinders so connected up datascan and discovered it was cylinder 6 not firing. Did a diagnostic with code 55 so ok on that front. Changed all spark plugs from iridium to double platinum, changed coil pack and then swapped performance chipback to standard chip as I felt it was not running as well on current chip. Disconnected battery while performing this operation which I have done several times. All back together and switched on ignition and the electric fan is coming on straight away, started up and sounds like its running on 4 cylinders and wont tick over at all, the check engine light is on. rechecked chip on ecu for correct seating and checked ecu plug and pins, all ok. Tried to do a diagnostic with the ecu dial and paperclip but it will not go into diagnostic mode at all! :cursing: So thats basically where im up to at the moment, I`m wondering if the ecu has died on me? any thoughts would be most appreciated! :helpsmilie: Cheers guys and girls. Paulr
  9. Hi Sayers, I have a lwb boot with glass, all trim is missing, just bare tailgate and glass. Just sitting behind my shed. If you can collect from me, you can have it for £20. I'm in Stoke on Trent. Let me know m8... :)

  17. Hi And welcome to the club fellow N/A owner. Zedworld is a garage in tamworth that specialises in just Zeds. Run by Jeff and his son Jamie. Has done a lot of work on Zeds for a lot of the guys and gals on this forum including myself... Highly recommended if a problem is beyond your scope.
  18. That looks nice and the chrome goes well with the orange.
  19. Hello and welcome..... :)
  20. Just got mt car back from Jeff at Zed World and just like Richardsmith said, you can't beat the quality and value of service I received. Worth the train journey home and back if Jeff can't fix on the day.
  21. I taught him everything he knows!!!! Yea right.......... I wish... Very impressive.....
  22. Hi Dave, got to the point where I could not drive over 20-25 mph without engine cutting out, no power at all. The thermostat had failed open, cam belt stretched and jumped 5 notches so valves were way out of sync. Fuel tank rotten (full of rust)! Also pump rusted and clogged! Petrol was brown and full of muck. So cam belt done, changed fuel tank and pump, new fuel filter. A pleasure to drive now. Zed World to the rescue.........:thumbup::biggrin:
  23. After trying Everything possible to try and sort my Z running problems out, I eventually gave my car to Jeff at Zed world for him to have a tinker with and after a week I've now got the car back and it is running better than it ever has done in all the time I have owned her. I am so impressed with the way I was treated and there pricing structure. I would not trust my Z to anyone else now. So a very BIG thankyou To Jeff and Zed World for all your hard work.... It was a very enjoyable drive home.....
