The centre console lid is the second worse bit, 'cause it's so hard to get rid of the surplus leather. What you could do with is a hand brake gaitor. Just unpick your old one & use the bits as a patern. The hardest bit to do neatly is the smallest panel next to the left of the glove box. Get to work on that gaitor mate, it's a peice of piss, as they say. ;)

Me & the wife nearly split up when we stopped smoking. They were certainly times to be forgoten. Only for 18 months though, so go for it Mac. ;)

Get it sorted westy, you'll be surprised how easy it is once you've done your first panel. The information on Stu's site is bang on. I used evostick contact adhesive, it's so easy to use. If you cock it up you just rub the glue off & try again. Only advice is make sure your piece of leather or vinyl is bigger than the bit it's going on (obviously). Good luck with it :) By the way, all the panels are easy to get off. Get some pics on when your done.

Where's this idle valve 'cause mine's still reving a bit, & how exactly do you adjust it. I want to try this tomorrow .

Just looked at the carbon kit for the centre console & seen what a bad fit it looks round the gear shift :eek:

Has anyone got a spare jap spec speedo dial 'cause mine has a load of stuff stuck to it as if someone has tried to stick some new dials on then given up. It's only the speedo one. ;)

Only this one as far as I know. It's called the Navan & you can get it off the Stillen site but it's not cheap.

It's grey leather. About £130 for a hide but I got a load of bits for £40 quid. :D Very stretchy & easy to use. Bit of Evo stick contact adhesive & Bobs your uncle.
