can some body give me a picture of the ecu compartment in the passenger footwell i need to see if i have a differrent ecu set up to yours. i seem to have two boxes down there, and the bigger one to the left towards centre of car has a big turbosystems stamp and sticker on it. does this mean the ecu has been changed within the box itself? thanks in advance car hopefully is ready to roll next week simon

what size front tyres should i put on

this may have been discussed before(apologies) but does anyone run wheels off of a gtr33 skyline V spec?, my cousin is going to sell me his set, they are "works" wheels and have the weight stamped on each wheel? (they look very similar to chunkz wheels) running 255-40-17 so i take it i will need to change the front tyres? they are very deep dished and look the dogs , i think they should fit ok as they are coming off another sports nissan, will be going on to my uk tt on standard suspension. thanks in advance simon

thanks for your reply greg,excuse me for being stoopid but i am not mechanically minded, i take it the cooler lowest to the ground is the oil cooler cos it is leaking engine oil and not water :) simon

need your help again guys..... the car is getting fixed now but have been told that the front oil cooler is damaged and leaking as some twat at mot station(before i picked up said car from previous owner) had moved the car with both front tyres flat and has bottomed it out and damaged it!! my question is this,what cooler or coolers are fitted to the front of car behind and below front bumper and even better has somebody got any pictures so i can start hunting for a new one or go about getting this one fixed. thanks in advance this car might see the summer if they get a move on!! simon 1990 uk twin turbo manual

hello everybody , i have just purchased at last a uk tt it has not been used for two years and basically the mechanicals are fine but underneath the car is shot, the side sills need replacing the front and rear quarter inner arches need replacing, the floor needs replacing, front caliper needs freed.............. i have bought a dog but i need to keep her as i have paid too much money for and i know it was stupid but my question is this my mechanic has quoted approx 800 to fix it to fix it all up to mot standard, the car looks good visually in white and the interior is unmarked, i am going to keep her and get her all fixed up but is this a fair price for repairs, was thinking of diff options would getting another shell be worth investigating? thanks in advance.. simon :)

hello everybody, just bought a 1990 tt on standard wheels i would like to ask you what would be the correct offset/size/rim etc for 17 or 18 inch wheels as most of the web sites dont seem to list the 300zx? for example 5x114pcd et35 the car is on totally standard springs etc need to get bigger wheels and tyres cos i have been informed that the car has got a "variable" boost systeminstalled and pushes out approx 400BHP!! and the wheels look very very small in my opinion thanks in advance :bow: :bow: simon
