Tested mine a couple of weeks back.A glass filled with reactive agent is fitted in place of rad cap with a rubber bung.Car revved up and any fumes from water, detects any head gasket probs. Only carbon exhaust deposits only. IE oil getting into water.

I had two automated phone calls aledgidley from my bank asking to press any key to continue (yeh right).So last night I phoned my bank and they were from them.Card fraud department lol. So basically,some coont has tried to top up their mobile with £30 of my money using my bank card number.All sorted now but they have canceled my card as its been compromised.Got to wait for a new one.How the hell they got my number I will never know as I always destroy receipts etc.

Looking at his pics,he has done that.But the grub screws look along way out.Thats why I have asked him if he has tightened them up.

Little allen key screws,there are normally three per bov.They are for holding them on to the 28mm adapter that you push into the rubber pipes where the stock recircs used to be fitted. You car isn't an auto is it?

Have you got a friend who can rev the engine while you look and see if both pistons are opening.Did you lock off the little crub screws that hold the main body to the adapter ?

Seems to be correct Buddy.Fitted as it should be.Blow abit of WD40 onto the pistons as there brass and might be abit stuck.Can you get your finger in and move the pistons okay ?

Have you a pic of your bovs installed ?

The washers are to pack out the big spring to increase tension. So that they do not open at idle.Should be at least four.Maybe you lost one LOL. Dont know what the nuts are for,maybe they are to lock the vac outlet pipe on bovs ?.Have you connected both the original vac pipes to the top of the bovs ?.

Twist the rubber tube or and the clip to gain access. :) Or drive a flat screw driver into the wire clip and snap it off.
