Any hand tips anyone would like to share on removal of front section of exhaust from manifold ?

Cheers Osty, was gonna get both bits from '2fast2cool' on ebay but they can only supply the downpipes hence the problem.

Found some de-cat down-pipes for £129, now I need to find just the mid section as the rear is already stainless. Any ideas where's a good place to find 'em ?

Cheers. While I've got your attention...some systems say they'll 'replace all' while others (like at the zcentre) say they wont suit if you've got 'pre-cats'. Can you tell without sqeezin ya'body underneath (mines an n/a) if you've got pre-cats ?

if you replace exhaust with a 'de-cat' what happens to all the small pipe work thats on the current system ? Cant see where it all goes cos there is'nt enough ground clearance to get me head under !

Got the Zed back on the road Fri,( after a third consecutive succesful MOT:rofl:), having been garaged since Sept, went to fill up... 70 fookin quid:shock: I'm sure last time it was fifty ish. At least with fuel you can choose wether to use it or not, its the poxy tax that gives me the 'ump, why should I pay for a road that i'm not using Mon-Fri ? Incidently, did'nt they build the road with my tax? Why then am I paying again to use it:confused:

Thinkin about takin the Zed for a spin round on the continent this year (how many countries can you get round in about 5/6 days?) but havin never been on a ferry and having only 4 inches clearance on the front, will it get up the ramp and off again, could look a bit of a t*t if it dont:xxx:

I use mine when in town/at a junction and want to make a WHOLE lotta roar without shootin of into the distance :D

Not exactly me own story but..............Mate of mine from work (honest!) been out on the town ,gets home late to find his missus had been waiting up for him and does her nut, storms of to bed. He,under the considerable influence of drink, decides he has nothing to gain from following her up to the 'love nest', so opts to watch one of his 'secret' porn films. After much time has passed she gets up to see where he's got to, goes downstairs to discover him fast asleep in the armchair, trousers round his ankles, covered in his own cold jizz !
