after i posted that i saw the pic of yours and yours is a brighter red this was more a burgundy red he was giving it some i'm sure he left that FTO standing once he'd gone round the corner.

red zed in maidstone this afternoon about 3.30 on ashford road by the haynes garage had a blue FTO very close behind was it you JB? if so hope you showed that FTO where the widow maker got her name must admit it give me the bug to get the old girl back on the road. Karen. :hyper:

cheers for that site details JB we only have 17's on the car been on that site they seem really reasonably. I've tried yokohoma's on the rear and now some new mitchellins done about 3K and they've gone no major wheels spins or drifting mainly motorway use i don't mind paying for something that lasts but can't afford to keep paying out for stuff that don't last anyone got any idea's on proven best brand please help as my credit card is full after buying the japspeed exhaust (way nice) easy fit :smash:

I had my box re-built at TDI in Lakeside Thurrock Essex at a cost of £3K this totally cured any syncro problems and added a performance clutch no idea what it would cost to put the 6th gear in hope this helps in some small way!

There are no visible leaks or perished pipes I dont really know alot about the Z engine don't really wanna waste money at monkey garages trying to find the fault! where is the temp sensor.....lol

Hi ya ppl!! I am new to the site and also the first time owner of a 300zx I have had it since last november on short journey's and when going slow (not often) the car really smells of petrol so much so it makes my bird feel sick. Any idea's if there could be a fault that can be dealt with or is it just due to the pigmy under the bonnet throwing bucket fulls of fuel down the injectors. P.S does everyone out there have bad headlights like mine i've heard all Z drivers have to use the force to drive at night. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!!!!! :headvswal
