thats the car andy forrest (scooby tuner from edinburgh, he's got a 9 sec car, needs to be seen to be believed!!) was over mapping, the owner of the car flew andy over just to re-map the car and fit a few bits and bobs.........should be runnin in the low 10's when set up right..........the full footage shows him being towed at over 50 :nono: through villages and even overtaking other cars and vans!!!! :slap:

the rears on mine are only 245/40/18 :cry: and from looking on here i should be really going for 265/35/18. the prob with this is that i don't know if they'll fit! the rears are 18x9 but the tyres are close the arch as it stands as its lowered on tein coilovers. :dance: the question really has to be should i slightly raise the car (although i think it looks perfect how it sits at the moment), or should i just leave the tyres as is? i've tried to post pics of the rear tyre/arch but the pics i have are too big but you can see pics in my 'rides' section. ;)

yeah, it's a film applied to the inside of the glass. you can try and remove it yourself but it'll leave a sticky glue residue all over the windows......can be a right royal pain in the ass to remove!!! especially on the rear screen, would probabaly take you about 2 hours (ish) best bet is to drop it off at a window tinters and leave them with 50-60quid and get them to do it :mac1: , leave them the hard work :D

the only decent lookalike i've ever seen is the 'BAD' (company name) ferrari 355 replica based on the MR2..... if its done right it is hard to believe it isn't a 'rari everything else looks wrong :x:

my thinking is that if i put a dump valve right before the throttle body the air would escape through the aftermarket valve before it could get back down to the re-circ. does this make sense? would it work?

i've only had my car now for about 2 weeks, was driving along the m74 earlier today to take the car to the jetwash. was tootlin down the motorway at a steady 80-ish mph ( :rolleyes: ). i look in my rearview and see a dark merc e-class come up behind me really fast flashin his lights. :x: . thought it was the cops, absolutely cacked meself :eek: he then pulls along side me as he took the next slip road, it was a middle aged man driving with his family (kids in the back!!!!) just to wave and give me the thumbs up! :hyper: has this happened to anyone else?
