tinting removal
once the film is removed you can use a very fine steel wool to remove the glue residue, this won't damage the heater strips and won't leave your car stinkin!

Window tinting
as a window tinter myself i can tell you it is completely illegal to have any film/tint on your front drop windows! however i do have a 35% tint all round, currrent penalties are are 30quid fine but no penalty points, you will also be required to remove the tint. pics below,

Very Disturbing
i think at the last count scientists have counted 4 major ice ages in recent times (the earliest being around 800 million years ago) is it just a natural evolution that the earth's temp is rising ready for the next ice age?

Tonight with Trevor MacDonald
they have a system in germany that recognises if you are going too fast into a village / built-up-area, it will then trigger a set of traffic lights to RED to stop the speeding car!........these lights are then armed with cameras so if you jump the lights expect a letter on your doormat :wack: i think this is a great idea as it would reduce the whole slow down then speed back up way of driving everyone seems to do thesedays once past a speed camera, . I know i'm guilty of it :( the government have a duty to us, to provide a safe system that is agreed by the majority of the population, i feel they should investigate other options as they do exist

dodgy Tesco fuel, who just heard that on the radio?
found on yahoo news; Garages are struggling to deal with an influx of cars which are feared to have broken down as a result of "contaminated" petrol sold on supermarket forecourts. Thousands of motorists are thought to have been affected by the suspect petrol, which is now the subject of an investigation by trading standard officials. Drivers said they had experienced problems after buying petrol from Tesco outlets in the south of England, although there were reports it could have spread across the country. it's FREE and... I have been refused credit I am applying for a mortgage I want to improve my credit rating I have just moved house I want to check it's up to date I want to check my credit score I have not seen it before I'm concerned about identity fraud The Society of Motoring Manufacturers (SMMT) stressed the urgency of finding the source of the potential contamination, which was still unclear. Chief executive Christopher MacGowan said: "It is a very worrying problem. Down to the present moment, the real difficulty is absolutely identifying what has happened." He told BBC News 24 that "mercifully" only a few thousand vehicles had been affected but that it was "hugely serious" and on a scale he could not recall in all his time in the industry. He said: "It appears there is a rogue load of petrol in the United Kingdom at the present moment but until we actually can track down exactly where it has come from and also what the precise problem with it is, it's very difficult to give meaningful advice to drivers." Mr MacGowan stressed: "What we have got to do is establish where the problem lies and where we go from there. At the moment the answers are far from satisfactory for you and I as a driver." The petrol has been affecting oxygen sensors, which are part of the engine management system and help the car run smoothly if it is operating normally or help it shut down if there is a problem. Mr MacGowan said there had been a run on the components in recent days, leaving some drivers with their cars off the road for two to three days because a replacement was not available. The problem had come "completely out of the blue", he said, adding: "I have been in this industry for many years and I cannot remember a similar occurrence on this scale."
