Tension rods & lower arm cracks
Is there a way of detecting this when braking, I seem to remember someone saying that you get a cracking sound when braking if you have cracked arms.

This might be hard to answer
Right I have an import converted to mph, now as I am takeing Audrey with me to Aus I will need to convert back to kmh but I don't want to see the clocks go past the 180kph and not stop. So is there any way I can keep the same sweep of the needle but read kph and be accurate all the way up to 300kph Cheers Scrawni

Change of plan again, I am going to fit them all in the top din slot, they should fit even though they are 68mm gauges so I need to find a new radio surround to chop up.

Well after my dash pod saga screwed up i have comew up with another cunning plan I am going to put my turbo timer where the clock is (not so uncommon) with my Apexi meter above it, along side that the boost gauge and in the place of the two top vents in the centre dash will go oil pressure and water temp, just need another dash to destroy now :) What you lot reckon.

I'm back with Tonyc's shorty!
I may be wrong but I will ask Tony if I see him today but I think the hicas has been eliminated on that one so check the rear joints for the skipping on pot holes, I seem to remember him saying he had taken it out and even the switches behind the stearing wheel. The brakes shudder I would say are the tension rod bushes

Its all gone wrong
Thats it but if I spray the suede I have the glue soaks through and ruins it, so I might have to get an iron on backing or something.

Its all gone wrong
I have some carpet spray glue, strong enough I thought and easy to apply. I think propper bostik contact adhesive will be the go next time.

Its all gone wrong

Its all gone wrong
So after my cock up with the gauge pod I got a new dash off Pete (thanks mate) and decided to cover all my panals with a nice cream suede I have gone and bought. So I take the old velour off one panel and spray some glue on it and stick the new sueded on, it looks real nice, a pukka job you would say. Happy days so I get stuck into the rest, I did the dial cover and fitted that and wow it looks great, that was yesterday but today as I was putting one of the last pieces on I oticed that the dial cover had bubbled in the heat and the glue had gone soft. Its got to come off and be reglued :headvswal oh well we live and learn.

rattling/creaking from O/S/R suspension
If you mean the nut that is on the ball joint then it should have a split pin through it as it is not a locking nut. Not having the split pins in is damn stupid
