  1. Roo is nice if you BBQ it properly, croc is nice too and baby octopus in garlic stuff is just delicious. You can't beat Aberdeen Angus
  2. Well I will be having Tasmanian salmon and Pacific endeavor prawns and a cured ham, with lots of cold beer.
  3. Here Just a couple of nearby places inland from the coast.
  4. Happy birthday big fella, I'll squash a few spiders for ya
  5. I'm close by, just bring it round and we can take it to the beach for some sunrise shots:D

  10. Well lets just say it has 300k kms on the clock and still goes like its a young girl, I will be looking to finding myself a 5 litre V8 for it one day and still keep the same fuel economy, as for bush bashing goes hard and shows the toyotas how to do it.
  11. I reckon mine will be on the beach this year:cool:
  12. Here in Aus they have speed vans, well its a Nissan Patrol where I drive and live in a dark metalic bronze colour, it parks up on the side of the motorway clearly hidden behind as much as possible and sometimes you only see it as you go past. But guess what, 99% of people stick to the speed limit or just under and there is no conjestion, until there is a crash, but we have up to 5 lanes on my stretch. I know you can't compare the to places as here there is less than 4.5 million people living in an area that stretches, well forever, but we still have a lot of cars on the motorway at one time. They also put radar guns in the hands of the trafic cops and that in my eyes is a good thing, if you are are going just over the speed limit and not driving like an idiot then you get left alone. So here I don't mind the radar and speed cameras because it seems to be sensibly used.
  13. We had a BBQ last night with friends, it was our first proper doo, and guess what it rained:rofl: just like back in blighty. But we have an undercover patio and it was still 18 degs so I was in shorts and my friends were all rugged up. It was a good night. Anyway this is what I drive

  16. That looks stunning Bunnyman, sounds like life is good and about time too. The countryside around there is some of the best in the midlands in my opinion, but watch the speed cameras. All is good at the moment we are renting a nice big place with room to put people up if they want, but with the way the stock markets are now and the exchange rates getting better for me, we have started to look houses to buy. Later
  17. You know you always seem to put things into pospective (spelling), I don't have the comforts I had in the UK but will do when we settle properly. I had it good in the UK but I have it better here, more money in my pocket, more easy going people, better roads with less conjestion, more sunshine and colder beer. There have been time when we have said "why did we leave a good life behind?" but it was only good because I worked seven days a week most of the time, now my weekends are mine, I just need a Zed to spend them in. The Zed guys here are top blokes just like pomgolia, it must be a Zed thing.
  18. NOT Only joking, I do miss a few things. Like warm beer:eek: with me mates that is and working in 30+ temps is not for the poor pommie bloke as I found out, and I should harden up and stop whingin. I haven't got a Zed yet, I am waiting till we buy our own house so I can get a propper shed for it to sit in. Anyway hi to everyone and keep on Zedding Scrawni.
  19. I'm with Stellaz on the transit forum angle, Is that a spanish thing or what
  20. My Patrol must be a monster, lets see Its got a 4.2 ltr engine, almost twice a skyline = 400bhp Its got an exhaust= 22 for skyline, 44 for mine A cam =30 for a skyline, 60 for mine 7 seats, that must add at least 12bhp And it sits on 33" tyres with a 2" suspension lift = at least 50, must do. And a distributor and we all know that they distribute the power so it must up it as well by about 16bhp. So 400= 400 44= 50 60= 70 12= 20 50= 50 16= 20 610bhp  no wonder I trashed the clutch
  21. Anytime Bunnyman, but you might need to give me a bit longer to find my own house, being in a rental we are still in boxes and our spare room is full of them. We have plenty of beds but no where to put them, oh and I drink beer now not tea, I'm an Aussie now after all:duffer:
  22. Bad news on the pics, my camera didn't work, all I got was black pictures. Its a shame cos there was bikinis all over the place, oh well I will try again another day. Take it easy and have a warm flat pint for me at the next meet:duffer:
  23. Got back from Surfers Paradise and I'm just over the moon, we were sitting in a surf club haveing lunch and a Humpback whale breached right out in front of the resturant no more than 100 yards off the beach, just spectactular.
  24. Guess I'm too busy with my sheep:rofl: I will take some pics of the beach today and post them up
