New Turbos arrived this morning

 

 

Sweet job, arrived exactly when promised all the way from Down under, pity UK companies can't be more like this.

Was really happy for about 15mins after they arrived until the nice lady from DHL rang up & told me I owed £200 in tax & duty

I paid £1650 in total, but that was with an extra $450 per turbo to have them modified so that they are a direct swap for the standard ones (no pissing about modifying downpipe/oil lines etc) so in theory they should bolt straight on.

 

I paid for them about 3 weeks ago, they took about 2 weeks to be modified. They were sent out Monday & arrived Friday, Tim was very helpful & kept me informed the whole time.

Not fitted them yet so I can't comment on the performance of the Tubs, but the customer service (& price) was excellent.

Jay, would be really interested as to how you get on with them fitting wise, the reason behind any modifying for turbo's of that spec is simply the size of them, being larger the top of the short down pipe is in the way, so a new one is fabricated, easy to do and only cost me about £95.00, i can only assume somehow they have managed to get all the internals, inlets/outlets into a small casing ?? keep us posted once fitted.

Fraid not still sat in my bedroom, need to sort some pistons & 555's before I do.

Whats the spec on the turbo's???

 

As I have just arranged some trade prices on Turbos for the 300ZX.

 

Garrett GT25's are £800+vat for brand new units.

 

Stage 1 upgraded 300 units are £560+VAT each, and these will be handed ready to bolt on.

 

Standard rebuilds are £300 +vat, and you can add another £100 for the 360degree cartridge.

these are the same spec as STEVE E hason his car Leigh.Or id imagine the same as the GT25 ones your selling.
