Right Guys Just Interested to see how many miles peoples Zeds have done,

My UK Auto TT has just gone past 124K, Turbos replaced, Two Autoboxes, and a ton of rust to show for it!

Featured Replies

J spec 2+2 1991 Auto TT, just done 160k kms which is about 100k miles by my reckoning, 3 autoboxes in its life, original turbos, no rust.

umm...thats hard for me to say, as I bought the car as a Rolling shell, and sourced everything to make it a whole car again either new or from other cars.

The shell has 46k on it though.

No Rust!? Damn englands rain and salty roads! New Sills will be fitted

There are a few guys in the US forum running in TT Z32s with 300k on the clock, some at 200k with original turbos. I've always said the 'replace turbos at 60k' thing is a myth. Those and b19rks car are good examples of that.

Mine has done 109,000kms which is roughly 67,000miles. Still on original turbos which are still going very strong. Body has absolutely zero rust, it's garaged, doesn't get driven in the wet or on salty winter roads.

My car has led a charmed life since ive had (7 years now!)it the oil normally changed every 3 months or 1500 miles which ever sooner!!! Dare say thats why the tubs are still in tact. Also the de catting and boost controller didnt finish them off so they must be in reasonable nick!

That's pretty good going. Just goes to show that given good maintenance, they are fine. Mine doesn't lead a hard life. I do use the boost and enjoy the car for what it was designed for, but only really in short blats and would like to up the boost a little. I take care with warmup proceedures and driving off boost for the last bit of my journey and I change the oil out every 3,000 miles. Saying that, I did hardly any mileage this year, so can't imagine the oil did anymore than 1500 miles.

I've got 76k miles on mine.

Changed the oil same as berks, every 3 months.

Done 750 miles since the new engine.

mine's sittin at around 154,000k this equate's to around 96,250

but i have a certificate upon import that states as so much was recorded in km and the rest now in mls (u have to take x amount of miles of the total k figure to obtain true miles

based on this it's done 112,000 and still going strong:hyper:

That's only if your car's had its original speedo converted. I'm still running on KMS. I'll get UK clocks one day.

Certificate of de-registration in Japan should contain kms details iirc.

yes it does;) and the docs all tally to the latter figure:cry:

but it seems healthy considering the mls, it seems to have been racked up only by the prev owner though and all in the past 3 yrs shame

but she's in good hands now lol
