Hi guys. Got a little question for anyone.

Does anyone know if Skyline GTR R33 Front seats will bolt directly into a SWB 1990 ZED?

I know they wil fit directly into a S14 200sx but not sure with a zed.

Does any one know? Thanks Guys and Girls.

Why would you want to fit the skyline GTR seats !?

Stock Zed seats are so much nicer looking, far more unique and 8 way electric adjustable.

because shkline seats are very comfortable and supportive, and mine are all burst and shabby

perhaps, not spent enough time in GTR seats to compare, but they are very ugly and cheap looking. Have always considered the stock Zed seats to be very comfy and there are plenty of used sets available out there in Leather or the Series 2 Velour.

Seats will require modification of the subframes to fit. I had to do a fair bit of work to get mine to fit, involving cutting and welding brackets to adapt runners.

those in the pics are from an R32, the R33 look a bit nicer, and some even came in cream leather, but those will be worth a small fortune :smash:

I was considering the GTR seats, but for the money they go for, il get something else :)

My Zed seats are good but are a bit taty and worn, I do like the seats but the R33 GTR seats are very comfy and look better I think. Iv been offerd a set so will probley get them, then get them re-trimmed, just hope it dont take to much to get them fitted.

Was it alot of hard work to get your seats fitted in terms of making new frames and stuff mate?

easiest way ( if you dont mind a fair bit of weight ) is a metal plate below the seat, bolt the seat to the plate, and the same with the runners, if you are at all handy with metal work this will be a piece of urine to do

However if you want it to look good, weight less etc, it will require alot of custom fabbing, measuring and the likes ;)
