First video I managed to get.

This is after initial running to get everything up to temp, check for leaks etc. and do some very, very basic mapping to at least let it rev a bit without stalling. Still some big flatspots even with no load but that'll all get sorted soon.

Cheers to Rob (dunkzxtt) for helping out today too :duffer:

John's engine is a Vh45de Nissan V8 from a Infinity Q45 (Infinity is the american brand name for luxury nissan range). Engine has a lot of potential, often said to be the best Engine to come out of Japan, although its detuned for luxury power in the Q45. John has ofcourse extensively rebuilt it as a Race/high performance build.

Not too sure on HP. I'd guess somewhere between 450-600 based on the spec but I may have got my calcs wrong, messed up the design and it might only make 200. Hope not!! Should be on the dyno for mapping early next yesr so we'll see what it can do then.

Hi John

How's the work on the final induction setup going, I know this is one of the final hurdles which you have to cross.

Regards

Alright Si! Imagine seeing you on here.

The air box is actually nearly finished, Leon is just welding it up, will be done for new year. Just got a mis-fire on no 2 cyl to track down then finish off the MOT stuff and get it on the road.

Give me a shout if you're passing as it's back at home now so you can have a nosey.

Hi Again

Not been driving Cerb much recently Mate, with the present state of the roads driving is no fun. I will take you up on your offer though, will ring you soon to arrange a day and time so I can view and hear Her in all Her new found glory.

Speak soon John

Si
