I'm replacing the polythene vapor sheet that are stick to the door beneath the door cards.

Has anyone got any suggestions for a suitable adhesive similar to the black sticky stuff that Nissan used. I could use a black silicone but i don't think it will stick to the polythene too well.

double sided sticky pads would do the trick, or if ya dont want to get it off again, liquid nails would do the trick

I'd prefer an adhesive like Nissan used - like liquid nails but stays pliable - it may have to come off in the future

get to your local motor parts store and see if they have anything, i know plumbers putty (plumbers mate) stays soft and sticky not sure if it will do the job though

Partco will prolly sell something like that Phil. My advice would be to have a quick trip down there, there is a fella in there with long hair and he is very helpful.

HTH :)
